  1. For £95 quid, I'd rather just pick up and hang up!!!
  2. Who Called Me? is your friend. Pop in a number and in most cases, other people have put it up there with details who the call was from. For your specific number: http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02076197597 - A lot of people on here say it started happening when they started giving to charity, oir people who donated via text to the 7**** numbers.
  3. Is the machine Windows 7 and is Offline File Sync enabled for the users My Documents? We've seen no end of reporting issues because of this. SIMS generates the temporary files to create the report and offline file sync does some "crazy caching" with the TempSIMSreports folder which causes the report generation to fail. Disabling it makes such a difference!
  4. @CHR1S - I would like that but £100'is quid is a bit too much for me, plus I already have a mobo and it wont fit that case. However, the Fractal Design Core 3000 Case are down to £49 from £62 on Ebuyer at the moment (only 9 left too!!!)so that is a contender. @LosOjos - Thanks for the recommendation. Again, looks like a very nice case!
  5. Half the issue of online shopping. From the pics, I did not think it looked too bad. And the the front of the case did feel solid, but insides, it felt flimsy, and a lot of it seemed to be made with cheap nasty plastic. Maybe I'll do a bit of "shopping" in PC World and then order online.
  6. Well, after some poor delivery on Parcel Forces part, I finally picked up the case and mobo today from the (not so local) post office! Well annoyed as despite the box being fine, the case was broken! The case fan that's meant to be attached to the roof of the case was snapped off and the fan cable broken, one of the removable the 2.5" bays was also snapped off at the brackets and bent, and the back of the case was dented in the lower corner making it near impossible to release the "easy undo" screws! Return arranged along with a refund, so back to the drawing board again. I won't be going near Casecom kit again!!! Also slightly annoyed with the mobo. While it was an ex-display model, it has no driver CD, manual, SATA Cabels etc. It was listed as " "Open Box/Ex-Display - Product is in nearly new condition but may have been opened or have minor cosmetic damage to box or product. Product is sold with 90 day warranty which supersedes any other reference to warranty within product title or description." the new build is going well so far!!!
  7. I'm guessing you have a breed of indoor cat then?

There were the "odd" random server crashes that lasted for a minute or two... maybe the network connection was flaky? However if they were being addressed, I would have expected to see the server completely down, not just "locked".
  9. We've just got our first Windows 8 laptop up and running here at the LA for testing. Planning on installing SQL2012 Express with SIMS and FMS, and SQL2008R2 for Discover over the half term. First time I've actually used Windows 8 before. Some things make me go "Ooooo" and others make me go "WTF?!"
  10. I presume your runnig it from an admin command prom pt and including the domain/user group topo? simsperm DOMAIN\Staff
  11. Incorrect S:\SIMS\Conenct.ini usually means there is no S: drive, or the user does not have access to the S:\ drive. When you copied the details, did you "add" them to the Connect.ini file in C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net or replace the details? If you added them, the redirect command will still be there and could cause issues. Try deleting the Connect.ini file in C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net and then running SIMS again and point SIMS directly to the SQL server.
  12. Something like this could be fun? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Speck-iGuy-Child-Friendly-Case/dp/B007JGBA0M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1360232448&sr=8-2 Shame they don't do these for iPads yet: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisher-Price-Infant-Laugh-iPhone-Apptivity/dp/B004UU9W78/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1360232495&sr=8-11 EDIT: They do. 13. Thanks everyone, looks like the Samsung 128GB 840 Pro Series SSD is a clear winner. A little more then I wanted to pay, was hoping for one around the £80 mark, but from what everyone says about the quality of Samsung, along with the benchmark figures, I think throwing an extra £30 to it will be worth it long term.
  14. Apart form the blue LED on the front, I think it is a simple looking case! It's not huge and it certainly looks nothing like this monster!
  15. I'll avoid then! I'll also be sure to look at the IOP's!
  16. I must be looking at the wrong thing then! So the "Read 480MB/s Write 380MB/s" is not something to go by? The write speed seemed higher then some others...
  17. I was hoping for more on what a catrun is?! Sounds like a giant maze for cats!

  20. LED's had no impact what so ever with choice!
  21. For those interested, phase one has begun! Ordered a case and mobo which I shall be assembling on the weekend. I'll then look at getting the core components in a week or so. I went for this case in the end: Casecom K5-9388 Black Case with Blue LED 120mm Front Fan Motherboard was this: Asus M5A97 PRO 970 Socket AM3+ 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard Ex-display model too so saved a few bucks.
  22. I smell another "Star Wars Holiday Special"!!!!
  23. In order: 1) Building my new PC!!! :D:D 2) Treating mold around a couple of window frames then resealing them. :ohwell: 3) Replacing the hallway carpet with some wooden flooring. :( However, I can see that once 1) is completed, 2) and 3) may not get a look-in.
