there is no point upgrading a one to a one s the difference is minor at best(diddnt at 1st see yours was going funny). the x is a better console and im running it on a 1080p tv happily. if you can afford it id recommend the x they are £20 off at game atm if that makes much difference just be aware (and this applies to the s too you cant directly plug in a kinect you need to buy adapters if you want to use it (mines basically now an amiibo stand lol)

ok im testing one drive with file on demand set as forced so every time someone uses a pc it wont download a tonne of stuff. ive been looking at the gpo to force it to a non default location (so id like it to go to to c:\onedrive\%username% but the gpo to do it is badly documented and trying the obvious wont even allow me to save changes. also does anyone know if it possible to remove the always keep on this device context option from the right click menu?

thats not a problem iirc thats by design same as you cant run them as the user administrator you have to have uac on for them to run as they are sandboxed

being a ricoh printer it may be that its an unsigned driver as i think all theyre drivers are unsigned and windows 10 dosent really like that it can be made to work but iirc depends how you install them

so everything but those pcs is fine? i assume they have correct ip/dns etc? try setting the amount of time the pc waits for the network at startup higher in group policy computer config\admin templates\system\group policy\specify startup policy processing wait time and set it to enabled and 120. i suspect they are just starting up too fast and giving up waiting for the network too soon as a result

dont apps reside in appdata so if your profile/appdata roams the apps will roam with them meaning if pc1 they first logged onto had say photos even if its not installed on pc3 it will get dragged across with app data?

in win 10 1709 the photos app does some movie maker style stuff (ive not spent long with it tbh but i did manage to add a comet tail to a cars wing mirror that followed it as the car moved) you can even add 3d effects to moving objects

i dont think you have to pay to get students free office no in my licensing onsole i just have unlimited office pro plus (cant remember the exact wording) for staff and students and assign lics as needed as to access ive never notices i havnt used that really since windows 3.1/95 days

its been a while but from what i remember its just a case of getting the ini file to a pc so group policy preferences or batch file is probably the simplest way

you wont get teh 4k out of it bt you should get better frame rates and tbh that might be a better thing anyway depending on the game/screen size etc i actually wonder if running 1080p hdr on a 4k set isnt possibly the best option so best colour and framerate and unless you have a huge tv i suspect a decent compramise
