my hp just got android app support in the last 2 weeks or so (iirc its a g4) it was supposed to be on every 2017 model chromebook but looks to be taking its sweet time getting there. a point to be aware of though not all android apps work or work well ive had some that dont work and some that may as well not so a video player that just assumes its on a landscape phone screen and plays vids in a tiny window in the centre of the screen for instance

its also verbal so worth pretty much the paper its written on lol

and thats the issue with multiplayer only/focused games if you just want to play without devoting your life to it you may as well not even bother you will just get killed all the time which is no fun and thats another reason why im not a pc gamer its one thing losing because someone is better / luckier than you but another when its some twit cheating it removes all the fun

id be testing the apps first ive found on my personal chromebook quite a lot of apps install but are useless. It assumes its on a phone for example and instead of filling the screen you get a vertical phone sized window in the middle of the chromebooks screen, other apps dont seem to work at all

onedrive isn't an app in that way best way ive found to kill it is remove read/execute access to the exe file (cant remember where it is off hand but its in windows somewhere and runs everytime a new user logs on

depending on the size of the dongle i was thinking more of opening up the hole in the serial port rather than removing it as unless its a big dongle it would probably fit through a serial port sized hole

yeah i watched the press conference that was part of and it needed a nsfa warning it just appeared with no warning (as did the Detroit trailer which was disturbing in other ways) if i was ever tempted to look into the last of us series this cured me of that entirely

be a bit messy but just make the hole in the serial port expansion punchout big enough for a usb cable and a short extension lead then just run teh lead into teh hole and put the dongle in inside the case themn close kids can remove the cable granted but the dongles still inside

are you sure you cant internally mount them you can probably find a spare usb header on the mainboard and get a cable from a scrap pc (or buy one) and just leave it inside the pc(even if their arnt spare you could disconnect the front usb ports cable and use that header to internally mount a usb port

just add a script to run once from mdt (or however you deploy it)

i think its more than that it keeps "disowning" the disc midplay so game crashes/quite wont restart until open close
