been playing more nier automata. the slowdown/frame drops can be annoying so much so its the excuse i used to get a ps4 pro lol. it definitely has less slowdown but you can tell when its loading a new area and stutters (and im only running in 1080 as no 4k tv yet (as i still need to replace the amp to do that and all the 4k amps ive seen are too tall for my entertainment centre)

depending where you put it at night it might be having more trouble searching for a mobile signal and using up battery trying to get one (so put in a drawer say that reduces the available signal)

so probably 50+ hours left lol. one day im going to try and platinum that game got close i think on my 2nd run through missed 1 interaction with Anne and 1 trip[ to mementoes (diddnt try to do the fill the pokedex bit was just going to load up an old save and grind that out

played the nier automata demo last night liked it bought the game this morning (first digital game ive got for ps4) as it was even at £50 cheaper than any physicals ive been able to find in stock (and as i bought the credit from cdkeys nearer £46) left it downloading (bit of a pita as because tv/amp is sony turning off the tv turned off the playstation 1st time had to force it into suspend mode before turning the tv off

wouldn't that remove the suspense from the game to a large extent though if you knew where you were being shot from?

got fire emblem warriors for Christmas. glad i diddnt pay for it that game is ok in short doses at best but its definitely repetitive. Downloaded nier automata demo on my ps4 to try at some point as i keep hearing good things but its expensive for a year old game £50 on psn and seems more than that virtually everywhere but argos still playing xenoblade 2 on and off took down a level 80 giant ape and got more baldes maxed out still 5 rare blades to rng draw and ive gone through over 100 cores trying for them thats not annoying at all damn you rng gods

finished xenoblade chronicles 2 ~140 hours still "normal" enemies 10-20 levels above me and still odds and ends to do

as long as you can handle its anime you should love persona 5 its what old ffs were turn based jrpg did 2 almost complete run throughs 185 hours(2nd run missed 2 or so hings but had 0 time to fix diddnt want to finish). ff15 if id bought it about 2 weeks later they changed the refund policy on xbox and ive of refunded it i played it for an hour wasnt feeling it tried again hated it. i liked ff13/132 13 3 feels similar its the combat turn based worked the way xenoblade chronicles 2 does it works ff13/2 & 15 its just no fun

at some point in the windows 10 version auto checkpointing got enabled turn it off that may help (sorry not got it infront of me and its per vm but its pretty obvious in the options for each vm)

i had the same issue with some toshiba laptops (probably r50s) in the end i think i either put hdds back in or it was a specific brand of ssd managed to swap it round with another laptop (only had 1 or 2) and it worked iirc it was either crucial or kingston ssd's it diddnt like

how bad is the xbox version ive heard nothing but bad things (but from people who have played on pc)

lol 87 more than me (never seen one that looked attainable without making me hate the game (zero dawn was probably the closest but i hated the weapon challenges never mind golding them all) and p5 i dont have much of a life but if i havnt got them after 185 hours i doubt i ever will much as id like to replay the game i suspect i never will its just too long for that spent all weekend (so friday evening through this morning) on xenoblade chronicles 2 and i dont think ive advanced the story much if at all just doing side quests / leveling etc the random mechanic when summoning blades though is beginning to annoy me even legendary/rare cores more often than not result in some no name crappy blade i dont need /want. its also annoying when an enemy is so big it pushes you off the world when its almost dead

pretty much find a server with loads of hdd space free (it can easily be 3-550gb depending on number of os's office versions etc) install the role (personally on 2012+ i tick the role let it add all the prerequisites then untick the wsus role and just install the prerequisites then repeat with just the wsus role as it seems to install 1st time then). follow the wizzard and then look at gpos most of it is pretty self explanatory

iirc mario+rabids is on sale. Shantae half genie hero is fun and is on sale as well iirc (its almost worth it for the music in level 1)and theres a physical version coming out with all the dlc art book and cd for £40.

just copy the new policy definitions folder over the top of the existing one and overwrite anything it asks about

just delete the ei.cfg and it should then ask what version of windows you want to install (it did with win7 cant remember trying it on 10)

its in the zip file you download along with minecraft itself

do you use https inspection on smoothwall/lightspeed/other filtering system if so id guess those pcs dont have the appropriate certificate installed and are detecting the https filtering as a man in the middle attack (which technically it is) so blocking access

have you checked the application identity service is running?

when you download it theres a powershell script to install. personally as all the machines i need to install it on are in one room i gave up trying to automate it (it dosent seem to like being run from a unc location) iirc i tried automating it and it was just taking more time getting it to work than i felt it was going to save me

wsus if especially you have express installation files (which you pretty much need now with windows 10 as thats how updates are done it seems) can be massive im not entirely surprised its over 300gb with 2 versions of windows and 2 of office. I think ive seen it over 500gb before and the cleanup seldom seems to make much difference (sometimes it can but only if its been a long time since it was last run in my experience
