what set FSRM on the local machines? if you set it on the server, its either going to refuse to log them out = not an option, email/ confidentialy etc. or give them an error when they log out = not professional CS5 is loads of money. personally I think the money could be better spent else where. but what do I know?

Hi, I want to prevent users saving to their desktop. 1 option I know is to use folder redirection to redirect the desktop to network location and set the permission to read only. But I'd rather not do that. Any other ideas?

with kids using them i would imagine its invaluable. its that a dell thing? or a third party thing? do any other manufacurers offer anything like that?

no problems with DPM here, just set and forget. shame about the custom partitions though, makes it a pain if your running physical and want to mess with arrays and stuff,

i know its for 2007 but have you tried this? The Outlook Web Access search function does not work for some users in Exchange 2007

its not really Service Pack 1, its Exchange Server 2010 with Service Pack 1. I've just done 3 server install with just the service pack never had to provide the original media / install files once. great improvement .

you need to check your password complexity in group policy. its probably in the default domain policy

and if your on schools agreement , your agents get upgraded with the OS / Exchange / SQL it can be a pain when you reliase you have to pay £££££ to upgrade your backup software before you can upgrade your exchange server.

I have only moved my mailbox for testing purposes so I can get this working before migrating any other mailboxes to 2010. has anyone tried them USB over IP? if it works you could hide them anywhere. could be expensive though...
