I'll talk to my techs again!

I'm told that it's Windows that does the printing not SIMS. If one printer functions and another doesn't it suggests that SIMS is instructing Windows correctly. I'm happy to go back to our techs if anyone can guide me as to the flaw in their thinking.

I think we fixed this a while ago.

The official school leaving date is the last Friday in June in the school year in which a student reaches age 16. Where a Year 11 student has applied and been accepted into the school 6th form, they must remain on roll until the end of term. Code X can be used for the period after the last Friday in June to the end of term. Where a Year 11 student has not applied or has not been accepted into the school 6th form, they must remain on roll until the last Friday in June. If the school decides to give leave of absence after the students complete their examinations, Code C can be used to record the authorised absence.

It's not designed in that way.

I don't know I'm afraid - it's been in that format for many many years.

The data items included in Capita's file formats are to support LA processes not DfE requirements. The CTF does not meet the requirement nor does it allow for rejection of data and dialogue between the school/LA. Our file formats are open and published on our web site. We can provide a validation service if required. There are lots of suppliers in the LA space!!

I'm afraid that the training data is supplied as part of the support team package which is charged for. Your own data is far better.

@LosOjos we aren't allowed to take an educated guess on the pupil premium values. Data from Key2Success will not override any other values.

@siuko The first time its called it will hesitate but thereafter it should be fine. I've seen lots of demos and not seen any performance issues. Do raise a ticket if it seems to slow.

You have to go to the Key2Success web site and download the data using CTF import. It would be so much nicer if there was a data stream option!

If your server is at our minimum recommended standard, InTouch should not affect performance. If it does please raise a case.

It was never a legal requirement just an expectation. Most heads would agree that parental engagement is an essential component of any successful school and it's hard to argue that information should not be available to parents on-line. Ofsted will bring their own view in on how well the school is doing on the area of parental involvement as they will ask parents to comment on their web site. A good communications strategy will help schools argue against any negative comments that are made by parents on Ofsted's site.

It shouldn't be doing this check and I've already asked the developers to see what is happening.

I think that the home page widgets will do what you want for forms and subjects. No need to print anything.

I'd say we need more signposting rather than you being a muppet!

There is a suppress duplicate flag are you sure that is selected? Duplicates occur when you have selected a data item that has multiple records. Sometimes you require the names etc duplicated and sometimes you don't.
