An emergency patch has been created which has been given to two schools with the problem. A more extensive rework of that piece of SQL is being worked on and should be ready next week. Please contact your support unit if you need the emergency patch.

There is an issue in large sites (or possibly hosted ones) that is thrashing the server. It's not InTouch. We are working on a fix.

There is a time lag between the software being upgraded on site and the central Local Authority including it in its report. However it should never be as long as 4 hours. I understand that its up to 1 hour due to the 30 minute synchronising that occurs between the schools SOLUS3 system and ours and then between the LA’s SOLUS3 system and ours. We'll call you tomorrow to find out more. For the record Capita now has 750+ schools that we upgrade by "useless" SOLUS3!!

A very long time! You can have multiple mark sheets too. In primary with DM you get a tab for that.

Steven is possible that tables have been restructured to hold more data and a side effect is that the report now takes longer. If after you've played a little more and it still is an issue drop me a note with the output details. Thanks for the positive feedback BTW!

Indeed the client does realise that it is out of date and pulls down the new version. It hasn't been 100% reliable with this action however. The new release should sort out those oddities.

@eddyc you're probably already aware but we produce a QRS (Quick Reference Sheet) which is a single page with instructions.

I've checked - SOLUS3 doesn't download in batches that leave incompatible clients. What is does do is download to clients before the upgrade is applied.

I'd recommend taking some training on Nova-T. Timetabling is a little bit of a specialist area and getting it right could save your school significant amounts of cash.

I'm pretty sure the ILMS framework didn't specify any Indy requirements!

I don't think being on the ILMS framework does mean that the software "does the job". It is possible to be on the framework with NO software!

I would not risk placing any pupil data on "encrypted" USBs. One day it won't be encrypted, it will be lost and the fine will hurt!

You can have multiple databases with FMS. It allows you to run private accounts on a completely separate chart of accounts.
