If you log onto SupportNet and in the search box (right side of screen) type QRS. You will then get all of the Quick Reference Sheets including some on reporting.

Our Quick Reference Sheets should be a good start.

It's not what I expect either. Results pre-embargo date should be blank. @CarpeDiem please let me have the case number so I can check on the advice you were given. Clearly there could be a bug but I would have expected to have been deafened by complaints if this feature wasn't working as it should.

Taking a pupil off role doesn't remove them from the system. Most schools wish to retain information for legitimate purposes for many many years in case of reference requests. Documents are retained in the same way. Document access is role based or private to the creator. (I wouldn't recommend storing "private" documents as you need to manage them when an individual leaves.

@CAM hopefully @vikpaw's reference will assist. There are lots of prepared grids available. If you have defined your own Aspects but want to utilise our resources there is a mapping tool available.

A lot of schools add a small amount to cover the credit charges. Sometime in 2015 we will enable surcharges.

You do have to set up your progress grids, targets etc. in SIMS but if you have you can get to a complete pupil teacher view with all of that information on it within about two clicks. Quick search->Pupil/Teacher view. If you want the info for your classes - click on the class on the homepage timetable; if progress grids have been produced for the class they are on a tab.

Really sorry it looks as if this feature has been removed; I don't know why! I've asked for it to be added to the "do list"

It is possible to configure the home page behaviour widget to show incidents relating to a subject area.

We do have speed issues which we are trying to resolve. We need to upgrade Dynamics to eliminate a known bug as the culprit.

If you aren't getting a good service from your support unit please complain - may be copy us in on your complaint. Most units I come across do a great job. I go to most of the accreditation presentations and get to read school feedback which is normally excellent.

I'd check the date that they have joined the group.

All group memberships are dated and effective immediately.

This is an emerging area and lots of schools are developing schemes. Measuring progress is the biggest issue as the new system has no built in measures. There are lots of blogs available David Potts for example and Capita's marketing web site has articles by Rachael Marshman on the subject.

I agree that the old interface was unintuitive. Personally I think the new one is pretty clear and efficient!

There is a patch being produced that can be applied via SOLUS3.

@superfletch I agree with many of the posts. @localzuk summed it up well. Not being able to track financial info is a very serious issue. Not being able to produce attendance records for a court case would be regarded as very serious. School funding is governed by returns - there have been cases of heads making up classes. How could you prove that the school funding claims are genuine? I did love the comment that schools existed before computers - so what's the issue?
