Scratching my head over this one. Any attempt to access a youtube-nocookie link returns a block page with the username listed as the stations IP address. We are using IDEX and the non-transparent proxy is set to core authentication. What might I be missing?

We have limits applied on a daily basis, 3 groups, KS3, KS4 and then art/photography students with sensible but low daily limits. Students can't print more than 2 copies of something and in addition we have print release portals set up on teachers PCs and they have to authorise the print jobs. This keeps a tight control over the silly wastage students could generate but the reality is student printing was a very small percentage of the total school printing.

You should always be careful using staff salaries in budget comparisons, especially with lower paid roles. My previous school recently told the whole staff body in an INSET meeting that they had overspent the yearly budget by the equivalent of a TAs salary. You can imagine just how the TAs were feeling during that meeting. This was at a time when they had just spent the same amount on lockable phone pouches for all students with no plan on how to implement them effectively.

Top right, unread content link, does that do what you require? And in the settings somewhere you can change the behavior of where you go when visiting a thread, with first unread being one of the options.
