Hi all, We have a few 75 inch Activpanels at our site that very occasionally freeze on boot and will get stuck when the "Activpanel" text screen comes up. The only resolution for us has been to hard power cycle the promethean at the plug socket and then it comes back on and boots normally with no freezing but this is becoming a common issues for a few activpanels here and was wondering if there is an actual long term fix of any kind and why this happens?

Thanks for this. Cyberpunk price is very good. I'll pick that up.

And what errors is it throwing? My gut instinct tells me the python modules?

Andor, 10/10. Dark, gritty and incredible characters. You really feel the empire's & ISB's grip and power on the characters as they become more and more desperate as the season goes on which ultimately leads to the start of the rebellion. One of the best Star Wars content that's been made since Disney took over. A must watch.

Hi Pete, We work in an office away from suites with other admin staff. Your team shouldn't be responsible for managing students, I think your team need to have a chat with the I.T Manager ASAP about the effect it's having on work.

Yes we've had this too but it's quite uncommon. Seems to effect 4:3 monitors for us mostly and as you say the only fix is to go into full screen and out again. Ours are running intel graphics too, I'll take a stab at updating the drivers today and see how it goes. -
Would love to upgrade my PC, long overdue. Hoping for some good deals.

Smoothwall used to have an option that would block Youtube Ads but I believe it's currently broken. Side note: I love the yout-ube idea, i'm using that. EDIT: I've found that it doesn't work on all videos.

NASA Curiosity Rover Now One Month From Arriving At Mars

Maybe it's the camera angle but I'm very impressed with how it's holding up the head and beak with what appears to be a weak "neck" at an angle. -
Hmm my first thought is, does the keyboard have a mute/increase sound button(s) I wonder if it's stuck?

They're good, we had a bunch of semi-old HP probooks that needed new batteries and no complaints from us. Decent delivery speed too.

I recommend Greenhouse School Websites. Excellent CMS. Can be a bit buggy at times but if you ever run into issues the support team usually reply pretty quick within a few hours. And you can designate a member of staff as an editor for specific pages. -
I was going to suggest similar with the SSD's and RAM. I've found when they say things are "slow" it's usually the PC but thankfully we've phased out pretty much all of our older units. I can't imagine it's your network either and just a problematic end user who expects NASA quantum level computing and networking. If it does get through to a complaint then they will have to say exactly what step is "slow" in their opinion.

Epson EB-X49 Not responding to remote control.
Brax replied to ticktock's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
If you have tried the steps in the manual for "If remote is not working" and you've reset the IR sensors and ruled everything else out then yes it sadly sounds like it has become faulty. Maybe an overheat or it's been hit by something. -

Hi! We have one of these. My question would be is there another potential new infra-red device that may be interfering? -
For Toners I can recommend Infotone. They also do cartridge recycling which is a big plus.

Have this exact same issue. To be fair it is an older promethean! Thanks for the link.

Beautiful! And the amount of stars you can see when you really look at the Webb image is simply mind boggling.

I'm stumped! I thought it must be something like an old Macintosh but it looks more like some kind of CD/DVD player...
