Hi all, We have some Lenovo 100e 2nd Gen devices and for some reason the clock just refuses to sync and the last sync was apparently in 2015! It's not a major issue but its bugging a few of our students and I can't figure out a fix. Any ideas?

You can disable comments and hide likes/dislikes on youtube if you do go down that route. As others have mentioned, is it a promotional video of some kind?

I also vouch for Davinci Resolve. VERY good software and updated semi often. I use it to edit Youtube videos and it has everything I could ask for. The Chroma key/green screen feature is also excellent once you get the hang of it.

Hi Ross, Do you mean buyback scheme as in the DFE take the devices off your hands? If so then no they were purchased just to give to schools and because they're poor spec wise you'll find no one will want them sadly apart from maybe another school that desperately needs them.

Replaced the secondary transfer roller too and no luck...

Hi all, We have a sizeable amount of HP Laserjet Enterprise 500 Colour printers that I believe are the M551 model. Two units quite recently have had an issue with paper jams that I can't seem to fix. There is no other paper jammed in the machine and I have replaced the transfer belt and fuser a few times. When you go to print something to it, it begins printing ok but then it stops at a certain point every time without fail as it comes out and gets stuck in the fuser and output bin area. Occasionally the printer will say it's a Paper Jam in the right door but it mostly says 13.B9.Cz Fuser wrap jam. I don't see anything that could be wrong at all so i'm at a bit of a loss especially since I have replaced the fuser and transfer belt multiple times, has anyone else had this issue with this printer before?

That sounds cool but I can't think of anything that wouldn't damage the plastic. We normally just record the Serial number along with sticking an asset tag underneath the laptop on the base. So even if the tag was peeled off we'd still have the serial number as a reference. I wonder if there's something similar to a trophy engraving tool that might do the trick?

I don't have a recommendation sadly but just something to bear in mind is that some gaming laptops are good but a lot of the mid-range ones really struggle with cooling in my experience and sometimes can cause bad bottlenecks and reduced performance. Something to look out for:D

Yeah that's not a Technician role by any stretch! Especially since you have mentioned schools (plural). You'll need to supply a JD and an actual salary to have any luck.

I've been really enjoying this series. The cast are superb especially Matt and Milly and Paddy. I haven't read any of the books admittedly so a new story in Westeros has been really refreshing. Just finished episode 3 the other day and WOW what an episode.

We use Impero. Really useful for I.T Teachers too as they can broadcast to all student PC's in a classroom and it disables their input so they can't click away or open anything, they can only see what's on the teachers screen on the PC they're using. In terms of misbehaving online, Impero can be configured to pick up any terms, words or searches in any programme or browser that may be inappropriate. Impero will capture a screenshot whenever this happens with details which Teachers or admins with Impero Console access can view. Workstations can be locked and unlocked too and the teacher can take control of the PC completely so they cannot use the keyboard and mouse.

I vouch for Resolve also. I rarely have issues with it nowadays.
