We just got an email from Greenhouse...

It's hard to get cover supervisors. At least at our place. They don't tend to last long.

BETT 2023 GIVEAWAY - What is your earliest gaming memory?
Brax replied to VeryPC's topic in Our Advertisers
My second earliest memory was playing runescape (Still going today as Old School Runescape!) in my late primary school years on my parents old HP, which was a tank of a PC running windows XP. It was a great way to play and chat with friends outside of school. My favourite moments were completing quests especially Dragon Slayer! Beating Elvarg and wearing that rune platebody for the first time was very satisfying and gave you bragging rights! -
BETT 2023 GIVEAWAY - What is your earliest gaming memory?

For me my earliest memory is playing Gran Turismo 2 and Driver on the PS1 in the early 2000's. There's a great photo of me with a giddy look on my very young face with controller in hand and Gran Turismo in the background. I was hooked, the sounds and graphics and smoothness of the controls at the time blew my mind. Being able to drive around 4 different cities in Driver as well meant I sunk many hours into both games (as much time as I was allowed by parents! ). -
Thanks, got it setup now, under the traffic tab it's document alerts. We've setup a few.

We use them too, thanks for the tip. I need to get in touch with them about updating a certain section so I'll ask them about it. Does it use one of their in-built features?
-
They gave you plenty of time then!!! Wish you good luck

Bit late but sadly the Network Domain and Service Provider are deprecated and will only show "Not set" if you try to setup a custom report.

Yeah much better, also seems to be slightly improved load times between area's of hogwarts.

Cost of living crisis 2022 - what have you cut back on?

Keep an eye on football clubs and their twitter pages especially league 2 clubs. There's always a lot of good Carabao Energy deals they'll tweet out occasionally. -
That's awesome, glad to see MinecraftEdu is still being supported.

My question would be why? What's the use case? CCTV should cover the entrance?
-
Ah yeah I forgot about that! A QR code to the form is also a great idea so they can do it on their phone

We've used two iPad's with a 365 form in the past. Worked well as far as I recall.

It's just another form of control for the government, my mind though just cannot comprehend cash being completely phased out. Unless there's some kind of technology comes in that rapidly shakes everything. We have used physical coins and cash for well over 2000 or so years. It just seems impossible to ever get rid of and I wouldn't want it to go away. EDIT: To add, Crypto is the only thing that has kind of come close in terms of technology but the fact it's De-Centralised is definitely a big factor in it's success.

Yeah warehouse jobs mostly, shame there were not any PDA style wearable terminals that were made.

In a similar vein wearable computer's which were huge fallout 4 pip boy style things have now become small smartwatches. EDIT: Added a photo reference. The Motorola WT4000 wearable computer!

Planning to upgrade my personal PC and just going to go for a large tower, I tried to cram everything using micro ATX parts and it was just a nightmare. Especially if you want decent cooling because as you say the newer coolers are huge ( but they're needed for graphical games and some software nowadays).

Wireless Microphone Headset Recommendations
Brax replied to Brax's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Ultimately the reason for our choice was because we were limited in the budget and it probably won't get used that often, we do have an older sennheiser lapel so most of the time we do use that but the powers that be wanted a head mic also to add to our collection. We have some nice Sennheiser handheld microphones too but on this purchase we didn't have much to work with. I do like the look of the G3/G4 would love to add that with the lapels rather than what we have right now. -

Yeah it's mostly for assemblies and sometimes when speakers come in. Thank you for the recommendation I'll make a note. -

Just updating this thread. We went with this microphone: https://www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/SubZero-SZW-20-Lavalier-and-Headset-Wireless-Microphone-System/1OJB Downsides: You can't change the frequency like other microphones so it's stuck at 863.1MHz. The clip/lavalier microphone quality isn't great and sounds a bit "tinny" however with some mixing adjustments it sounds OK. Positives: The headset is really good quality and it's quite thin in it's size. Is pretty much plug and play. -
They could just play the GO Battle league which is PVP and doesn't require you to wander around but location services need to be on for the game to function at all.

Hello! Agreed, we went with something on Gear4music but it was a bit more expensive. Going to try it out shortly as it just arrived.
