No, you untick the old, and tick the new. Yours might just update itselt. I'm going from E3 (paid) to E1 (free) so I HAVE to deselect my current. Check that your license expiry doesn't say 'Auto Renew' in BILLING/SUBSCRIPTIONS. Mine does now with E1. You might not have to touch it.

No worries @witch 1. I think you have to license it with your EES vendor - thats probably for a new O365 tennant, not a subscription renewal 2. O365 Admin Centre - Billing/Subscriptions 3. 'New Subscription' 4. (I used)... Office 365 Education E1 for Faculty (Outlook, Calender, Sharepoint etc) £0.00 &&&& Office 365 Pro Plus (for Onedrive and Office downloads) 5. To bulk assign licenses to users... a) O365 Admin Centre - Users/Active Users b) Dropdown box - 'Select a View / New View' - Choose your options c) Using that view you can then select up to 20 users at a time, hit EDIT, go through the steps to 'Licenses' ... untick your current plan, tick the new ones.... Bingo! ....So my account has E1 and ProPlus selected as licenses. Test it first on a duff account... I firstly selected only ProPlus and my mailbox disappeared. I had to change my license back, then in outlook select Region and Timezone (like with a new account).. then clench my buttocks. Luckily my old mail was back I did that with MS on the other end of the phone. Hope this helps.... I went through these steps with Pugh.co.uk (EES vendor) and MS. It works. Hi, We're changing our O365 licensing from E3 Faculty to Pro Plus Faculty (Free with EES). I just tried changing my own O365 account to the Pro Plus license and its created a new mailbox etc instead of just changing the license so I've lost my mail for now. Waiting for a call from MS... My E3 runs out on Friday. What do I do ?? Gulp!

Think I've cracked it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had 'Content Rating' enabled for apps in my Meraki profile. Anything that is (or isn't?) content rated was prompting for the password to install. Just to add....I probably could have done it with just one ID across the devices, but probably best not to. Yep theyre all there in the purchae history. When I license an app in VPP it syncs with Meraki. I then add the app to MDM/Apps, (presently) to all devices, assign the licenses to all user. It pushes the app to the Ipad, then prompts me for a password. The first 10 install fine - MS Word, Powerpoint and a few others. Im totally stuck

OK. I'm narrowing it down. Each device now has its own Apple ID, verified in Itunes and imported into Meraki. I've re-prepared them, re-enrolled them into Meraki and they are registering - profile installs etc. 1. Are you guys going to m.meraki.com to enrol your devices or are you installing the Meraki configuration profile with Apple Configurator. ?? I'm not getting the Meraki message to install the app. The first 10 will just install with no prompt, the rest all ask for the Apple ID password... then they install. In Meraki all licenses are 'auto-granted', all app set to install on 'all devices'. 2. What am I doing wrong ? 3. Im thinking maybe I the app store and VPP cant verify my accounts on the devices although the ID and password are present on them. There is a page in Apple Configurator where you can install a certificate. Do I need to do that with a Meraki Cert' ?? I've uploaded the Apple one to Meraki but not Meraki to 'Configurator...?? Is there one?
