cheers, to be honest i just keep the same knackered shirts, ties, and trousers for the past few years, scruffy i know but i can't seethe point when they get damaged so easily.

Does anyone know if i can claim back or request some other work wear, as i bought a new shirt saturday and its already got dust and ink on it. I try to keep reasonably clean but i am sick of coughing up money for work clothes that get ruined.

Sounds like most people have alot of activities, where as i don't do that much, outside of school consists of playing on the pc, watching tv and going to the cinema. Also seeing the girlfriend but i would class an activities as somthing you choose to do where as with her i have no choice in the matter, lol.

One question why would you want students to be able to bluetooth things from the phones, students phones are banned here and if we see any we confiscate till the end of the week.

I was about to suggest the right click desktop and go to output and dual display the only other thing i can think of is we have one set of laptops which have to have a option set in the advanced display properties, can you tell us what grapics the laptop has.

when you force the synchronisation do the files the synchronise or does it flag up an error.

I was able to deploy the digital blue 3 software, i used the network install so that all files are stored on our server, mainly as if teachers machines died we lost there recordings

That fixed it, we were using a vbs script to set the wallpaper, but we have activ desktop enabled and have set the desktop like you said as a local address. One other thing, does active desktop need to be enabled what would happen if this was not used. Thanks again

I have been able to disable the right click in windows picture and fax viewer but the students have found a new way to set this, i have attached a picture. They can click the set as background in the Picture task menu which comes up each time an image is seleted in explorer. Does anyone know of a way to block this ability as they are annoy me now, nearly all of them are wasting time creating stupid pictures in paint and setting as there background, i know the teachers should be watching them and stopping them but this never happens and i want to remove the ability all together.

whats srp? also i was thinking of adding a deny permission for the global group the students are in for the file wscript.exe, as i think this allows vbs scripts to run.

The kids have currently worked out how to create vbs scripts in notepad and are running them. the current one is a message box that pops up and displays the message, you have a virus. I cant seem to figure out how to stop them running.

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the bluescreen you get or post the error. I have a few computers here that bluescreen when using RIS due to it picking the wrong set of drivers. I have yet to fix this as it is only 2 machines i just install xp manually.

I though the exact same i was watching it and thinking some episodes are weak but for a christmas special the storyline was just so stupid. A space cruisliner called the titanic from another planet, with people who dress as they from the original titanic. I dont think any of the acting was that bad i just think the plot was very very poor. I hope the next series offers better storylines.

Thanks for the advice, to be honest i have not said anything that she should do, but she feels she can come to me and talk to me about any problems, as i dont really know who she cant go to and talk to. I did suggest she speak to a union about this, but she was reluctant. @Bossman I am trying not to get involved, yes she is my friend and sure she cant get things off her chest but thats as far as it goes, i dont really have any comments that i can give to her, i just tell her she should tell someone about it or speak to a union, was my reasoning for this post to give her real advice where to go. Thanks for the advice i will have a word with her and get her to go to a line manager , personel or union. Just annoys me that the head seems to think he can boss anyone about, and treat them like this.
