Could you create gpo and link the students or year group to it. in the gpo - user configuration - administration templates - system - logon - run these programs at user logon then you can specify the file or files. I think this would work?

I was recomended using ubuntu use the GUI first and then get used to the command line structure, once your confident with that you could always move over to command line only later on. -

I have been trying to troubleshoot a problem we have with our cachepilot box. Current problem is that when either staff or students log on, they both try to connect to the old DC server we used to have, now this only show as a log within cachepilot, that they are not able to connect. We since rebuilt the domain but this error seems to be there, it only shows on log on. My guess is that it is somewhere within either the student/staff profiles, default profile (would that effect any user who logs on) or the staff/student GPO. The error does not show when I (admin) logon. If any has any advice where i could look would greatly appriciate it.

Could you get some of the kids work and put it up on the wall as examples. Or see if you could go about getting the kids to design posters.

I also made a donation and have tried this program, it works pretty well for me but sometimes i do find it does lock the machine up and i often have to end task it. Even sometimes when i close the program, it is still running in the background. Have to admit the machine i use it on is not that great athlon xp 2400 with 1gig ram. I dont use it currently as it can lock the machine.

sorry my question was for kgcs, you posted a minute before me. we have version 3 but current drivers out at 4.10, no trouble what so ever, only problem we had was old TDS boards needed an activhub to get the drivers to work properly with activstudio 3.

what version do you have on the disk, this is activstudio we are talking about.

I think i will either try to go down the line of save up some money and pay right out, or get a loan from a bank and pay the car off, any garage seems to try to rip you off when it comes to finance. The APR on one car was 11.9% where barclays was something like 7.3% sure i will still have to pay so much extra but there is a big difference. Another option is pay so much off and get a small loan to cover the rest so pay £3000 and get a loan of £5000, rather than a £8000 loan.

We were also looking at a 3 year old ford focus, but again the interest over 5 years was crazy, of course buying it out right would be the better option but we can't afford that as were saving for a house (which is another story) Our problem currently is that the places we have spoken at, they will tell us one thing and the next moment tell us something totally different. We tried asking questions but not really sure what to ask. Any advice on the things info we need to get out of them, such as warranty info, interest, etc. If i was buying a PC i would be fine but i have no clue when it comes to cars.

Hi My girlfriend and I are currently looking to buy a new car, and are looking for some advice how to go about this. We were in a dealership yesterday but the guy serving us was pretty much trying to pull a fast one and get us to sign before getting the full details. Neither of us have ever bought a new car before, we would prefer to buy a car which is interest free but there doesn't seem to be that much in our area. One we looked at the interest rate as 11.9% APR although he did first say the interest rate was 7 but that ended up 7% Flat. To be honest it is a bit confusing and hard to trust what they are saying. Any tips?

We had this problem with the gateway when students using firefox portable. We removed the gateway from dhcp scope, teacher needed the gateway for some software so we just created seperate reservations for teacher laptops, and added the gateway manually. Takes a bit more time but least you know who can access what.
