I was told that my audacity msi zip file is corrupt so i am re uploading it. Could not edit my other post.Audacity.zip
-
Another way is to create a group policy for audacity and only add those machines that you want it installed on. Then add the user logon script to that GPO. The script will then only run when anyone uses the machines with audacity on.

thanks i wouldnt of spotted that one, i have altered the msi accordingly and reuploaded. It was an old server anyway that is no longer in use, but it may of messed something else up for others.

The mplayerc.ini file is created when you set the default file associations if you deploy this to the same folder as MPC it will pick up the settings too.

The Registry change needed is in HKCR\DVD\Shell\Play\Command and in default Reg_sZ add C:\Program Files\Media Player Classic\mplayerc.exe %1 /dvd Added msi i made installs mpc to C:\Program Files\Media Player Classic and adds the above registry key too. mediaplayerclassic.zip

Well i got it all working now, it was something to do with the type of encryption on the AP and that i had to remove the WEP encryption for the WPA to authenticate. Thanks everyone for the help

We had a quote from Extricom for 16 AP's and 2 switches which came to over 21k, the technology looks really great and would work wonders but it is very pricey.

What is the legality of using Real Alternative

I am having some trouble with some new laptops we bought, they are connected to an access point, they connect fine but when they are first turned on the wireless does not connect in time before group policy is applied and it misses any gpo that need to be applied. I have set in gpo the setting Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon. The wireless card built in the machine is Realtek RTL8187B. We have other wireless cards in laptops that do connect to the wireless access point before gpo is applied so i am assuming this is laptop specific. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Special characters could the & sign cause a problem. Security group is fine and has the computers added. Also added Domain users to make sure. I created the certificate from the tutorial so i dunno if its right or not. but will try that if it works then it must be certificate. Will post let you know how it goes.

Client XP Sp2 I followed the pdf guide and i create a certificate and set shared key on access. point and on radius. machine authentication. I dont really fully know much about it all, i just followed the guide.

Have tried this over and over and i have no idea where i am going wrong, i have followed the guide but still unable to get laptops to connect. We are using HP 520 WL Access points and there logs show Primary EAP/802.1x Authentication Server Access Requests 3 Access Accepts 0 Access Retransmissions 5 Access Rejects 0 Access Challenges 0 Malformed Access Responses 0 Authentication Bad Authenticators 0 Timeouts 6 What that means i don't know but i have radius set up to the server and the right ports set. Either am about to give in or pay for someone to come in and set this up for us.

Just calculated the fares i would incur over the whole of the course and it is just over £400. They have said it would be fine so just sorting it out now. Thanks for the help everyone.

Well i walk to work so my travel expenses are nothing, but to get back from my course i have to get the bus again. £6 a day over once a week for a year adds up.
-
I travel from the school to the course and then from the course to my home. So should i request expenses for both.
-
Don't know if this has been discussed before or if in right place but here goes. Currently been put on a course by the school, but as i don't drive i have been getting the bus to my course, which takes two buses and is costing about £3 one way. I was just thinking about it and i don't know if i am entitled to any travel expenses as £3 a week for a year is going to add up and its is coming out of my pocket. The course is great and i am glad the school put me on it but i want to know if i can ask for either reimbursements or even them block booking a taxi each week for me.
