    There are many different FPV setups for the Hubsan, you want to check out some of the Badland FPV Hubsan video's, the man is a wiz around the house under tables and over doors etc... amaing... here is a wick link I found...All the kinks have now been worked out FPV HUBFPV HUBHubsan X4 FPV

    Hi All, This is a full uncut FPV flight I did around 'The Hurlers' stone circles near Liskeard, Cornwall. It was such a hot day that I found a nice shaded spot to stand while having fun around the stones. The wind was ideal that day, nice and consistent which lead to some nice close proximity flying. My spotter is one of the people I pan around within the circles. Best viewed full screen @720p

    Hi All, There is a certain style of flying that when I watch the video I find that I am leaning my head and dodging objects as they fly past the screen. This is my attempt at recreating one of those video's in my own style of flying. The final crash at the end broke two props and 1 motor shaft. The wind at some points was very strong which made being behind a wall of trees and over a very deep gorge that little bit more exciting. Best viewed full screen @720p

    Wicked Zimmer, that's looking really good ,and I am glad to hear you are doing well on the piloting side, I have yet to do flips FPV style yet but I have got some in my video's but they were done all LOS. Are you using 10" props there? or are they 9x4.7, I find if you want an even more dialled in feel then go for 9x4.5 props, having this beautiful british wind pushes and bends props that are ?x4.7 but the ?x4.5 props are rock solid which don't get effected by wind or speed TBS discovery looks wicked fun but I have not gone for one due to the cost of repairs, I think I will make my own H quad frame at some point. I look forward to your updates, keep us posted on your progress mate

    Hi All, Here is a video that was intense to fly, the added factor of the strong gusts between the trees made for some interesting paths and tight squeezes. I loved every second of it. This is my first 1080p video made using the GoPro Hero 3 Black edition, alot of quality was lost when added to YouTube but it was so dark in there I was amazed at what the results were.     I finally pulled the trigger o the GoPro, I had hovered over the buy now button for so long that It was a now or never situation. I am amzed at how good and small it is...bit miffed at GoPro for not adding so many features to the WiFi side as you can steam pre-recorded video from it and copy files off (limited to 300kb/s) etc using 3rd party apps of its webfront. Wicked news about for flying, yawing can take some time and practise, the rabbit flight controller has a great feauture for that, its called 'care free' so that if you ever get disorientated then you can flip the switch and what ever direction it is facing then it will take its orientation from the point that you armed the quad on the ground so you can just pull the stick back and it will return to you (in theory of course).     @FragglePete your is the X525 V3 right? I suggest you buy some box ali and make your own arms, it makes the frame SO more solid and the arms can survive a good impact without breaking, I replaced mine for an addition of 80g which is not too bad. Also get yourself a Hubsan X4 as this is great to learn on and ALOT cheaper if you crash, plus it can be flown in the house when its windy...I learnt to fly facing myself on the hubsan and it improves your reaction times because there is so much to dodge inside a living room.

    @Ant, that cable looks brilliant and nice and easy..I might give it a go, I have the USB programmer from my first flight controller KK5.5 which I could use.

    This is a great start Ant, well done on the ESC flash, I have thought about it but never got round to doing it, I hear they react a lot faster and smoother, I'm already using 400Mhz to talk to them via my Rabbit flight controller, can you change the frequency on the KK2.0 board to talk to the ESC? I think most are default at ~300Mhz Keep us posted on your progress Ant...and keep the photos coming

    Hi All, Here is a quick video I made near Vixen Tor on Dartmoor, Devon. It was a very windy day and a lot of effort to stay on course but all made great by such beautiful sights. Best viewed full screen @720p

    @plexer Hi Ben, Yes 2-4cell means it will work with ~7v up to ~15v. If you are using 4cells then in theory you will be more efficient because you will be drawing less amps because of the higher voltage which means less energy is lost in heat etc. Those motors look fine but you will need more than a 20amp ESC's, maybe go for 30Amp or 40Amp due to the peak output of those motors, 30 should be fine. Looks like 8x4.5/4.7 props are a happy medium for these motors. Just to make sure you know, I have never tested that setup or run 4 cells on a quad but I have seen that it is a tried and tested setup on many frames but still untested by me. Many of the TBS frames are setup on 4cells. Check out Juz07 on YouTube as he uses this setup with breath taking effect.

    Those motors look good. A Lipo 2200mAh 25C 11.1V 3S is about ~185g, My flying weight is roughly 1.2Kg with all FPV gear added. I use 20amp ESC's with 1000Kv motors using 9x4.5 Props. The other route would be get 1400Kv motors and use 8x4.5 props and use a 4cell lipo for some serious control in the air.

    That sounds a lot simpler to make and construct, so have you given up on the v-tail quad? Here is my Quadcopter doing a range test, I would of got a lot further but I was staying low to minimise the damage caused when I lost signal, the true range (if I was say 100feet off the ground) would be about 1000meters. Best viewed full screen @720p After this flight the quadcopter was fine and was flown back to the car LOS. Then came destruction, I was testing Manual mode (all gyro's/accelerometers turned off) when I went inverted but my lesson was learned quick....reduce throttle before going inverted!..so long story short the quad has had another full rebuild Version 4 with test flights tonight after work.

    That looks like a great build Pete! almost there. I like your Tupperware pot, be careful in the wind as those square sides will cause a lot of resistance. I removed those hook feet on like my second flight because they are a nightmare, they stick in the ground or snag grass on take off, also they are very week in a hard crash. While I was learning I used the form that came around a dell server to create large padded feet which gave me a nice soft landing but did get effected by wind. I can't wait to see you flying this beast!

    Hi All, Today I decided to check the range of my DX6i by flying FPV low level in a straight line until I lost signal. I checked my fail safe to make sure it would give 0% throttle. The video signal stayed rock solid the hole time until the bitter end. I flew into the wind incase I had to make a hasty retreat with the wind behind me. Best viewed full screen @720p

    hmm that's interesting, is there a reason you did this or is it just to save time during printing? looks like you might get away with using 8x4.5/4.7 props if your going that size but I would suggest going for 1400Kv motors to get the higher RPM rather than the 1000Kv's. You have 2 3d printers?!? wow what a useful tool

    @plexer wicked project. when you say '75%',do you mean you are printing it at 75% of the original scale or is this something else you mean?
