Hi All, This might be a silly question but I will ask anyway and give the reason. Last week I had about 20 users all trying to access a https site using different usernames etc (it was for Thrive training). They said that if one person tried to add a record to the system logged on as 'user1' while someone else in the suite (logged on as 'user2') tried to access another page they were not on then they would then be presented with the page as if they were 'User1'..... I am sure that still does not make sense after reading it 5 times so I will right it in steps Both users are using IE10 and logged onto the Thrive site as... 1.PC1 is logged on as 'User1' 2.PC2 is logged on as 'User2' 3.User1 adds a record to Thrive and saves 4.User2 refreshes Thrive page on PC2 and it now says they are logged in as 'User1' (they should be 'User2') eMy question is... Does SWGFL proxy cache cookies or something that would cause this issue to happen? I ask because this is a idea put forward by the programmer's of the software, they think I need to disable the cache on the proxy. If that is what is needed then why didn't Merlin and all other content management systems fall foul of this issue? I hope someone can make sense of this and give an answer Thanks for your time and effort in advance

Nice bit of kit that @plexer, glad its all hooked up and reading right. When do you think your maiden flight will be? (time scale) I have hopefully managed to grab myself a bargin price brushless gimbal to tinker with which is my next enjoyment.... after just completing my first beer brew at home, 20 litres of larger brewed, had my first taste test on Friday and it was delicious! but the final date when its all ready is the 27th of this month so don't expect much communication from me after that until its all drank lol

Amazing Sunrise, it would of been incredible at 1photo per second or 1photo per .5sec. And a lot cheaper to make your own than £499 and even more cheaper to repair WHEN you crash rather than IF you crash. Either way you won't regret getting into this hobby, its so much fun and so many possibilities. Let us know how you get on @RichB

@plexer It really depends on how hot the ESC's get, mine are 20Amp ESC's and rarely pull over 15Amps from them so the temp is always quite low. I didn't mount mine on the top or bottom of the arm purely because of the prop wash which will cause low frequency vibrations each time a prop goes past, so I have mine vertically on the rear of each arm and close to the frame plates, that way if I crash head on then they are protected and are not in the prop wash at all but still get a good air flow. Same goes for the wires, they are all run down the back of the arms for safety and keeping them out of prop wash. Vibration is definitely your enemy with multicopters. P.s I also added a 2mm thick slither of foam between the ESC's and the arm before using zip ties to deaden any vibrations which will cause the electronics in the ESC to fail prematurely and your beautiful Quad to plumment to the ground in a twisted mess lol I've seen it happen before

That looks wicked, you won't have any trouble spotting that in the air, great job!. Not sure about the landing gear, I can see after a heavy landing these might buckle up underneath but time will tell. Lov'in it Ben

Hi All, Here is my first visit to this beautiful forest in Devon. CamSump and I decided to walk along the path and pick spots to fly as we found them. It was a very windy day which was perfect for the shelter of the forest but still gave me a few surprises. Plenty of close proximity flying and some great speed which made the start of September great Best viewed Full screen @1080p

I am still weary of these as I have not heard much about them. Quick search revels they go to a blue screen if interference is encountered......which is not good for FPV, also light pollution is bad with them so you will have to make a sun guard like this maybe.... Ski Goggle Mod for Vuzix 920 Wraps for MR - RC Groups, I don't think these have IPD adjustment aswell which means your brain is going to have to work hard to make these immersive to make it look like one screen. Still interesting

Wow these seem to be the right spec, 2 LCD's so you can view 3d films is good, 31deg FOV is better than the attitudes at 30deg, not sure on the pixel density for clarity but they must be about the same, no video Tx or Rx or head tracker so that's an extra cost to add to them, if you use 2 vTx's and 2 cameras you could fly in true 3D vision I guess which would be cool. At that price its probably worth a punt but I myself would still hold out for the FatSharks as I have read a lot more reviews about them than the Vuzix Fatshark Attitude SD: Full color LCD LED backlit Kopin CyberDisplay 922,000 pixels binocular display (640 X 480 VGA)

It is like a huge TV screen floating in front of your face but as soon as you start flying then your peripheral closes down and you are completely immersed into what you are seeing. The colours and quality is amazing with the right camera attached, you can spot a telephone wire in your path at about 50meters so it has good resolution for flying. You can always do FPV without the goggles by using a computer monitor or something so you can still fly FPV but its not as fun or immersive. The Attitudes allow you to change the angle your eyes view the screen where as all the others are fixed which might be an issue if you have a big/small head Nice lid, Tupperware is so light, cheap and bomb proof that its perfect for protecting your electronics. The frame is looking very good, I like those motor mounts...did you make them?

I know what you mean about the price of those Fatsharks, there are alternatives, some around the same price and some cheaper but you will be loosing quality and FOV on most of them. I saw it as, well I can use these on anything else RC I want to FPV, I could use them for gaming (not very good resolution for that) etc and I knew if I brought a lesser pair of goggles then I would always be wanting the better ones. I bit the bullet and got the FatShark Attitude SD goggles with their vTx, its an amazing pair but some people do not get on with the rubber eye sockets, but if you can handle swimming goggles then you can handle these. I found for the under slung rig for the camera, if you get some strong/thick rubber/foam and cut it into four squares and put that between the frame and your rods and then attach zip ties around the rods and through some holes (where the pads are) in the frame to lock them together then you will have a lot less vibration, no need to fix or lock the rods onto place as the zipties do that and dampen some vibration as well as the rubber pads. That way you can push the camera way out front and counter it with the lipo on the back....might help

That's excellent, it should sound and react like its on rails, do you have a link to your motors you can share? As for RC Tx's, I would suggest the Turnigy 9x, you can flash opensource firmware to it so it then has features that Tx's that cost hundereds have. I was looking at one of the 9x's but then I discovered I can use my Spektrum DX6i with other TX modules like EzUHF etc by using the training port...sweet!

That's a great flight video Pete, some fast and brave moves for LOS flight. I see your using the Ali motor mounts, that's a great upgrade for the X525frame, before these were available I ended up just mounting the motors straight to the arms and it makes such a difference. Keep the video's coming

Nice choice, so are you going to be running 8" props instead of 9" due to the faster RPM? I'm now toying with the idea of going onto 4cell lipo's (14.8v) for some extra kick and power That is amazing, some talks on TED about quadcopters adapting to external forces are wicked but they all rely on a room full of camera's for tracking and transitions. A great swam video is the one where they get lots of quadcopters with lights on them and make the Star Trek sybol in the sky, all done on GPS..amazing That's all I seem to do at the moment...wait for payday

Great news you got it, shame its still at work. I am sure it says on the instructions but make sure you update the firmware as soon as you turn it on...its a bit flaky if you don't and freezes etc.

I recommend the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, its an amazing bit of kit and has had a recent update which make the android app excellent to use. The ** on the different backs are something to do with wind speeds etc, if under 100mph wind then use the skeleton back and visa versa over 100mph winds I think. The quality of the raw video is amazing and I have not even tried ProTune yet (I don't want to get into the hassel of post colour correction). This camera gives me the confidence that it will capture what ever I put it though....including high speed crashes and over 24hrs in an underwater adventure @FragglePete you were already on the edge I am sure, I just gave you a little push I hope you are having fun. Keep up the progress vids
