We did have something lined up for BETT a few years back that looked like a pit crew shirt with logos embroidered all over including the sleeves. It was cost prohibitive at the time though. If you'd like to pay for something similar however we may be able to sort something out. As regards different coloured shirts, that is simple enough and easily done.

how a bout a range of different coloured shirts long/Short Sleeve with the edugeek logo on the arm and maybe a name on the pocket and ICT Support or Tech or something on the back. Do the same with polo shirts. smart hodies would defiantly buy mabe with edugeek on the chest upper right hand side if your looking at it and something comical on the back or plain. with the possibility of embroidering name maybe.

ties nylon would be harder wearing.

maybe a shirt or t shirt that can have the school logo on and edugeek on the arm or back.

Yes. [except C.]

I like "A". It looks like a general computery tie, thus making EduGeek a secret group. I like this.

"B" is also cool. The "EduGeek" on the tie makes it look like a title.

"C" looks too much like a school tie... I don't want to feel like I'm back at school [as a pupil.]

Out of the 3, I like "A" the best.

There are times when I need to wear a formal tie and most others wear old school ties (must become a member of the old boys club for my school to get one ... never gotten round to it), club ties for whichever rugby / football / golf / squash club they play at (or that they just drink at to be honest), whichever forces association they are in or ties from whichever College / University that they went to ...

I would prefer A and B to be hard-wearing and stain resistant but C to be silk and to be very special ... not for work-wear.

This community is already cliquey enough without the need for merchandise.

Just saying.

The community has had merchandise from very early on ... and people (including me) keep asking for more. The thing we have to be careful of is equating purchasing merchandise to the ability to be a good tech / nm / geek ... after all, there is a lot of Ferrari merchandise out there that people buy ... it doesn't mean that they would make a good F1 driver.

But surely an edugeek lanyard imbued lightly with static from the mighty edugeek server would make one a better tech by osmosis :-P

Failing that I can always dunk them in the office coffee pot :)

Or possibly a worse technician depending on where you stick your fingers and discharge that 'light static'!

I do think the gift pack is a good idea. I'd quite like an Edugeek Branded mug and lanyard and you can never have a enough pens... Edited by JonThompson
