I too went to Lancaster University and then worked there for seventeen years managing IT in the Geography Dept/Environment Centre. Very small world. I did my computing degree there... starting on punch cards! You missed my daughter by months probably She was in LEC There's only one question any Lancastrian asks another though... which college? I did environmental science and still wondering how I ended up IT…. My college was just over the way in Pendle, though I was magnanimous and drank in all the college bars! 1
