Where did you get the trial devices from? I would like to get the following in to test with staff - Lenovo E13 / Dock - HP ProBook 450 G8 / Dock - Acer Travel Mate / Dock Can anyone recommend a supplier that could help with a trial on these devices?

I'm looking at the HP ProBook 450 G8 however finance are questioning why we would choose this over the Acer TMP2 as they're same-ish spec but cheaper. I would prefer HP due to better support, business focused rather than consumer and in my opinion better build quality. Can anyone think of any other reasons I can put in my argument towards HP?

We recently purchased some Acer TravelMate P2's but the build quality I found to be quite poor and within week 3 had to send 2 back for faulty SSD's! Do you know if they work with USB C Docks from Lenovo?

We're a trust with 4 schools. We're all on the same Windows domain/DC but each school has a separate Google tenancy on different URLS for Chromebooks and Student logins. I would like to allow the Chromebooks enrolled on each Google tenancy to allow logins form our single MS365 tenancy. Is this possible?

I'm looking for some recommendations for new laptops for staff in the £4 to £500 range. Min Requirements are: 8GB Ram 256GB SSD Intel Core i5+ USB C Charging USB C Docking Support TPM I was looking at the Lenovo E14 but this is too pricey for what they're looking to spend. Any recommendations?

Does anyone know if you can enrol and manage older iOS devices with Intune? We have a few older devices on iOS 12.0 and see they're not supported from here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/supported-devices-browsers If they're unsupported does that stop them being enrolled and managed? If so I may need to go down the Jamf route for iOS but would rather Endpoint Manager to keep everything in the one place (Windows/Android/iOS)

Just bumping this in the hope someone has done this.

Does anyone have a simple guide to follow to setup SCCM so we can view/manage SCCM clients whilst they're off site via the web? Or if this is even possible? Thanks

Looking at using Azure with Ad write back for password resets and conditional based access. We've purchased 10 1 licences as a trial however I heard from someone somewhere that some education plans include P1. Does anyone know what this plan is? Google /Microsoft site didn't bring up much. Thanks

Yes these were disabled.

Explorer does not run. Only Chrome so I don't think the caffeine.exe will work.

I'm trying to create a kiosk for our library PC's. The PC auto logs on and loads chrome as the shell with the correct URL however the screen goes blank and locks after a few hours. I've tried editing power settings GPO and setting screen saver settings but it still goes blank. Any ideas on the best way to stop this?

SMART Notebook 11.4 - Silent Install without reboot
mehball replied to CHiLL's topic in Educational Software
Well our SMART account manager took note of our 73 physical SMART screens and simply gave us a licence to ensure we can activate version 18.0 or Notebook on all the devices we require (Currently approx 300) -

I would check with your account manager. We get 5 activation's of the product per smart board. Currently deploy 300 installs of version 18.0 without issue. -

OAuth2ClientProfileEnabled : True In terms of GPO's we don't have that setting saved but instead have the following... https://imgur.com/LrdqJ5s Out autodiscoer is DNS on our domain so autodiscover.ourdomain.com points to autodiscover outlook.

We never use web access, I guess when users do then the browsers stored their credentials. This is using Outlook 2016 and pops up the first run of Outlook each time. I would like to get this so that when it prompts for credentials, this then remembers this and roams with the profile.

Since 365 moved to modern authentication each time a user logs in to a PC they have not used before they are prompted to enter their username/password. This has only started happening since the move to modern auth. Are there any fixes for this or workarounds?

In fact logging on to the machine, those registry entries aren't even there. Machine is in correct OU.

We have a library machine that auto logs on. Since W10 upgrade this no longer works. Any ideas? The working window s7 way was to push the following registry entries out via GPO..

Since MS moved to modern authentication we're now prompted to enter username / password each time we open Outlook when logging in to a new PC with no local profile. Once setup on the same PC it remembers. We would like to remove the pop up from new machines, Is there a way to include this in the roaming profile, it used to work fine before modern auth.

We deploy a default apps xml for Adobe reader which works fine as most clients have this. However, is there a way to set Acrobat Pro as the default for those clients with Acrobat Pro? As far as I can see you can only deploy one xml for default apps and the App ID for reader/Pro is different.

Nope still nothing. Just realised its on Windows 10 so maybe a W10 issue.
