Ah..small world. I too went to Lancaster University and then worked there for seventeen years managing IT in the Geography Dept/Environment Centre.

Very small world. I did my computing degree there... starting on punch cards! You missed my daughter by months probably :D She was in LEC

There's only one question any Lancastrian asks another though... which college? I was in Grizedale.

I did environmental science and still wondering how I ended up IT….

My college was just over the way in Pendle, though I was magnanimous and drank in all the college bars! :)

Hi, I’m new here. Used the site before for support but never posted until today. Didn’t know if I had an account until I met everyone at Bett and they checked for me.

Wahey, :welcome: to the fold - it's addictive.

Hi Edugeek community :)

I've joined with the goal in mind to learn some great hints and tips for when skynet is targeting me, however I think my most useful contributions will be to the Punny Thread!

Hi all!

Sure I've had a few different logins for this site over the years but since I started a new Senior ICT Tech role in a busy Secondary in Rugby, Warwickshire, I've come across this forum time and time again to assist me with technicial issues and downright annoying problems. Hope I'm able to contribute a little as well. I have many years experience working in IT.
