I am looking for inspiration for the design of this years student and teacher backgrounds, I wondered what everyone else uses.

 

Post them up so I can be inspired we were thinking how boring our drab standard colours were.

Here's ours - used for the login screen mainly. Desktop screen varies depending on Staff or Student login, but involves our main School crest.

Thinking of changing our login screen wallpaper..... not sure what too yet though.

We use BGInfo to overlay the school logo onto a plain blue background - how do you all get decent looking desktops for all screen resolutions? We run everything from 1024x768 up to 1080P here, so it'd look awful just using one static background.

I use a VBS script that looks at the screen resolution then applies the correct sized wallpaper for the type of screen.

Logon screen is easy as you just need to name them correctly for each resolution and Windows applies the correct one

Not quite, you are restricted on what resolutions you can sue, you cant use any old ones.
