Agreed. Just because he invented it doesn't mean that he can control how people pronounce it, plus it plain stupid to use a soft g and he shouldn't get so worked up about it.

Do you use Jay-Feg's or Jay-Peg's? (After all, it's an acronym for the Joint Photographic Experts Group, so that ought to be an 'F' sound, right?)

Did Nah-sah or Nay-sah send things into space? (National Aeronautics and Space Administration, so the first A should be an 'Ay' not an 'Ah)
