I guess most of us know about the 80% adobe discounts for staff and students in education as well as some form of discount from apple as well. For personal use. Aswell as membership to costco i believe if you are employed by the local council etc.

 

I just thought it might be a nice idea to find out what benefits we are eligible for and maybe get them posted on this thread of other discounts that we could be applicable for that no one really knows about for personal use.

 

Im sure theres more than just that for us??

Just read the eligibility to see if you fall into the category and away you go.

 

But do you see what I mean you didn't know about that as maybe others didn't either so get posting people! lol

You also have the cycle to work scheme soo much money for a bike and you pay it back, and also local gym membership if you work for the local council.

Adobe offer Work at Home rights in some of their licenses, so you might not even need the discount - worth checking

No if you are part of a government funded school NOT PRIVATE you can be eligible the ac.uk is more for the university discount which is higher. Phone up and ask to double check I believe they usually ask for a scan of your photo id etc if its not a university discount.

Its part of the local councils staff benefits, oddly enough though I can't participate in the cycle to work scheme as they withdrew it

Depending on the cashier, 10% off at Rymans. Hey, I told him I'm not a student but work in a school but he still gave it to me after a long pause.

I got a 12% discount last time I bought a Mac. I went in, waved my ID at them and got the discount. Applecare is also heavily discounted.

i got a corporate Marriott gym membership for child's prices when i was there cos i was council. i also get discounts from waving my nus card too, but only in select places.

We get Cycle to work and they have a scheme called everyone benifits which gives us lots of vouchers, options to sacrifice salary for supermarket vouchers (which are taken pre-tax so they are worth more) and many other things, oh yeh and an eco-car scheme which is great if you want a little car rather than a family car.

 

I think the Orange deal is for all public sector workers by googling around a bit, still wish it was as cheap as the £3.50 basic rental we can get on our corporate handsets

Guys you don't have to buy it directly from adobe,amazon as well as others list it which are a bit cheaper and maybe coincide that with a gift voucher or google a promotion code to get it cheaper?

 

The only thing you have to do is once you purchase it, you have to sign up to adobe and then request a activation key on the basis you provide proof etc.

For the Costco offer all you need to do is take some sort of Council ID and a utilty bill to your nearst costco as well as £30 for a year membership. Thought some people may like.
