As oaktech says buy the vehicle back, When I bought a vehicle back from my insurance last year they charge me £75 for it from a £3000 payout, if you have a driveway offer the car for breaking on ebay and gumtree with the buyers removing the parts themselves and once you have sold all the decent stuff let the scrapman have it
-
people will crash though no matter what they drive my first car was a Fiat punto 1.4 GT turbo running 205hp at the wheels they I sold that and bought a chevy monte carlo 5 litre V8 when I was 19 never crashed either of them ive been driving modded cars ever since and killed no one yet.
-
I agree the ideas are ridiculous but it seems unfair to assume all the engine revving car modders are to blame lol
-

DVLA - back dating a change of ownership
Chris_in_notts replied to RabbieBurns's topic in General Chat
how long do you plan on extending your ownership for? will they not ask how the previous owner signed the doc and dated it if you just forgot to send it off? -
Here is my car last november this is what happens when you park on the pavement... lol http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l208/chris_in_notts/roof.jpg

I always HPI all cars I buy for obvious reasons but I still want the logbook
-
You dont get details on the current owner with a HPI so that wont show they are the current owner.
-
what will a HPI do for you?
-
I realise this but if they have the V5 registered to them at their address isnt it a pretty good indication they own the car? if I went to buy a car and they had no logbook I wouldnt be buying it no matter how many times they told me the v5 isnt proof of ownership lol
-
you would just have to be stupid to buy it lol
-
I think its virtually impossible for a young person to drive at all silly money for even the smallest of motors! and I feel a young person who takes time to learn and gain experience in a fast car is more safe as an idiot in a small car so theres no point in putting a limit on things because any car in the wrong hands is a killing machine! if that makes any sense lol

[android] Petrol Consumption app?
Chris_in_notts replied to RabbieBurns's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Pre 96 is likely to be OBD after then is likely to be OBD2 all petrol cars produced after 2001 will be OBD2 compatible and all diesels 04 onwards will be OBD2 and you should be able to reset the service lights on your BMW by shorting out afew pins on the round connector plug in the engine bay -
we supplied our own screens and they supplied some cheap small factor dells running XP and the life channel software

Waste of money! the content is dull and boring and they only change it once a month, the price is rediculous for what it is install xibo and make your own content.

-
they was very good and I personally like BGT lol

i'd bet my last pound on that being the coil pack, if your lucky they will be individual for each cylinder and you want have to replace all 4 as they normally cost a bomb.
