localzuk Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 As our staff are a bit under strain (Ofsted next week), I'm going easy on our staff. I sent the following light-hearted email: Hi all, Due to our budget dropping dramatically next year, we have decided to implement a ‘bring your own’ scheme for IT. This means that from next year, we will no longer be issuing laptops, instead we will be expecting staff to provide their own in. We know this may be annoying to some, but with the current economic climate we have to do what we can, and it was either this, or bring your own toilet paper… I've also added a facebook logo to our pupil intranet, and I'm sure i'll play with the HP printers a bit too.

Unless the BBC has got other papers to retroactively play along with the chicken one, then that's not one (the Express and Mail both ran articles on it yesterday). And the latter has bee reported on for at least a month.
