tommej Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I hate it, after deciding to give it a go and playing multiplayer for a good hour man it blows, i really dont see the appeal especially when the hit boxes are size of houses, and the last kill cam is a joke and highlights precisely why the game is so bad, as for the campaign... BORING! same thing every level just a different background, run gun run gun blah blah yawn, its currently winging its way back to lovefilm... First person shooter? Not sure what you expected!
LosOjos Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I also came to the conclusion last night that I hate it. As Chris said, the game is ridiculously un-balanced. And it seems random as to how much ammo it takes to actually get a kill; sometimes a couple of rounds with the AK74u will do it, other times I have to empty a clip, it's ridiculous! Single player is dire; headshots? Only when it wants to, half the time they just hide and rub their bloody heads! Even Delta Force had head shots sorted! I'm going to have a weekend on Delta Force I think: now that's an FPS!

ICT_GUY Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 my mates say that when they are no good at it... weirdly I seem to be doing fairly well with it, all I've done is buy the enfield with a red dot and its good for 3:1 kill:death. I suspect its because everyone still hasn't bought decent guns though as the ones that have, well.... that gunner chopper thing is way too powerful though! Way way too powerful, with out stealth there is no way of taking them down.

Once they fix the FPS issues and release mod tools so they can develop a promod for it I think it could knock cod4 off its perch. I would say it was more fun then stock cod4 and dont get me started on how terrible MW2 was for PC gamers...

The fact you can run past someone and not see them at all but its blatant on kill cam! You can put an entire clip into an enemy's head and they still don't die but you can be killed by a head shot from a bullet aimed so far away from you its stupid! Edited November 12, 2010 by CHR1S

Firing off an RPG toward a group of players and I get shot - no problem - watch the replay and my RPG does not even go off although it certainly did just before I got killed. That's happened a few times. Also going to stab someone, nothing happens or even when standing next to them nothing registers. Empty an entire AK7 Clip into someone - they are still standing. And don't get my started on the points system - stupid. Glad I only paid 25 quid for this garbage. It's rushed, buggy, the GX are amusing when someone's legs stick out a solid wall and the single player is just boring as hell. My oldest enjoys it so he can play it, I'll go back to MW2 which to me is a good example of a polished game. 1

Lag Lag Lag, and when you did start a game 9 times out of 10 you were off to a new Host halfway through or you just timed out. I was having a blinder on Nuke Town, took down 2 choppers with my RPG and was also on a good kill streak - then BAM - time out. I've given up for the evening now.

Anyhow, turned it off to watch England hammer the Aussies and heading out now, but my user is Hightower_Geek on the PS3 if anyone will be on tonight? The missus wants to watch X-Factor first (*sigh*) but then I'll be hammering it all night after that.
