Block users from creating Sharepoint Sites

How do i disable users from being able to create Sharepoint sites and also 365 Groups and Teams so that only IT staff can create them?

• Open the SharePoint Admin Center.

• In the left navigation pane, select Settings.

• Click on Site creation.

• Uncheck the box that says "Users can create SharePoint sites" (or change the setting to restrict it).

• Click Save.

That doesn't do it in every location, only in SharePoint.

 

Unfortunately, the setting for this doesn't have a GUI control, it's only through PowerShell, but Microsoft have a script at this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/microsoft-365/solutions/manage-creation-of-groups
