edutech4schools Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Battlefield 1,2 and 3 out next year have true teamplay. you have one person that gives orders to all the teams and directs the battle and those teams can give orders to other team members. BF2bc2 is not a full Battlefield but still wipes the floor on COD. It has tanks, helicopters distractable buildings and joining a friend online is done so much better than cod. oh and no whining kids that you get on COD

featured_spectre Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I am the same Dom...but I have been using the MP5K. 1 shot last night netted me several thousands of points! 750 kills with MP5K = 5000 points 750 kills with SMG = 7500 points 75 headshots with MP5K = 1000 points 75 headshots with SMG = 1000 points I went up a rank and a half from that 1 shot!

nikaso Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I've got second chance pro and quite like it, nothing as satisfying as going down and wasting the guy that got you with a pistol then getting revived! Hardline pro sounds very interesting though. I seem to remember reading that any kills from ANY killstreak rewards don't count towards your killstreak? In MW2 it just used to be the care package kills that didn't count iirc?
robertsenior Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 after playing for just over 9 hours and reaching level 36, i now know that i prefer black ops than mw2, its just the fact that the game is not full of noobs who run round with grenade launcher and RPG using danger close which used to really do my headin, another thing with mw2 is the quick scopers, i am so happy they have pretty much made it impossible to quick scope even though black ops snipers are crap and cant really be used on any of the maps as there are to many corners and no long allys that you can camp down. overall i dont think i will be going back to mw2 anytime soon

robertsenior Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 yeah thats right you need to get 5 kills to get care package but u can not use anything below to build on you kill streak it makes the game more interesting i think, hardline pro is excellent, you can change anything that drops in a crate like sam turret , carepackage, and turret gun all you do is run to it and instead of holding "X" (xbox) you double tap it to change the contents, you can get anything the best one has to be when i changed ammo to dogs

ICT_GUY Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 My new fav is the Ak47 with suppressor and AOG scope, deadly at any range, the shock impact of even wild fire seems to stun enemies and the spray and pray at close range is as good as a shot gun. Combined with warlord pro, flash grenades and scavenger pro you can have a lot of fun. Currently I am working on Ghost pro which looks to be worth a giggle.
HodgeHi Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 (edited) I have finished the Single Player on Veteran and found it to be the simplest yet. AI is an absolute joke. I was going up the stairs to the doc just through the red doors after the round room. I had someone shooting me from behind i dived behind the big red door and the russian guy stood in the door way. The guy shooting me stood by the russian guy and kept shooting. The guy shooting couldn't see me. The russian guy just stood there ??? MP is utter rubbish, especially on PS3. People have been complaining about the crap PC port. The PS3 version is no better. Got migrated 6 times in one game of ground war and still didn't complete the entire game before getting booted due to server disconnection. The lag is beyond terrible. It even crashed my entire system at least 4 times. Ground war IMO is the best game type though. The more the merrier I've never been fond of the CoD games since the big red on PC (first one was perhaps the best). When MW2 came out i picked it up cheap but also picked up killzone 2 cheap as well. Played Killzone 2 and loved it. Online is excellent as well. Still suffers from the usual cheating scum (but it's just the sad way of the world I think where some feel they even have to get the upper hand in a game), laggers and lagging but being mission-based you tend to have an objective. Lately it's become more of a base raping constantly type of game. But if you get a good one it's really good and intense. With CoD they don't even bother with the objectives. You have the headquarters and most of the teams still sit camping in places where no one ever goes ???? WHY??? Capture the flag you moron! So I think Black Ops for me will probably be the last CoD game I buy. Loved BC2 but I pretty useless at it. Killzone 3 next for me i think PS. Is anyone seeing constant network related issues with Black Ops on the PS3, parties getting separated and mics getting lost? PPS. because of the way ranking works with online FPS games I also think they should have worldwide release at the same time so everyone has an even start.
