Ahhhhh...sweeet :)

Congratulations!

Did you do the whole 'down on one knee' bit?

I did indeed, i had a problem tho as she didn't have any rings, i couldn't get a ring :(. So i got a ring box and put the stone that i gave her on our first date (we walked along the beach after going bowling so we could talk. it was kinda heart shaped).

To day shes going to get measured then i will know the size so i can get a ring. :D

Congratulations mate. Did the same thing myself back in September and it's the best thing I've ever done. We're not hanging about either, getting married in April!

Forget all the negatives that people will tell you, life will be great!

Yeah, it is great. When you do get married one thing I regretted was not staying to the very end. We left an hour earlier than when the celebrations finished and wish we hadn't. It's such a great day.

Remember that the wedding is just one day, it is the marriage that is the actual deal!

Try to have a great day but don't spend ridiculous amounts - yes, it is very important but so is the rest of your life.

As for marriage, I have been married for a very long time and can thoroughly recommend it. mrwITch and I are very different people, and we have had our differences over the years - especially given the stress of having coped with three children of 4 and under, but we are still here and I wouldn't be without him!!
