Hello I have the following formula for a calculated column in a custom SharePoint Online list that calculates the total hours worked between 2 times and then deducting 30 minutes for lunch. =(IF([start Day & Time]="",0,([Finish Day & Time]-[start Day & Time]-"00:30")))*24 This formula works a treat and calculates the total hours worked. I now want it to deduct 30 mins from the total hours if those hours total more than 6. I have the tried this (which is the formula in my original spreadsheet), =(Finish time-Start time)*24-IF((Finish time-Start time)*24>=6, 0.5, 0) but I'm struggling to adapt it to work in SharePoint online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance

A teacher from one of my primary schools wants this particular theme as used it before at her previous school. Version 1 has no top bar menu option so needed to upgrade it. This one has 3 column layout and she prefers it . She'll just have to have another one I guess, Green Theme is a similar 3 column layout so I'll see if she's happy with that. Thanks

Hi all I have been trying to update the 'Ocean Wide' WordPress theme from version 1 to 1.3.7.9. The theme website is down so I can't download the latest version. I am hosting on my own server so have access to the backend files and folders. Does anyone here use or have this theme installed that has access to their files and folders on the server? If you do, I would really appreciate the files if you were kind enough to share them with me?

No. Besides, I'm logged on as a domain administrator and they won't open for me either.

Yes, authenticated users, they have full control. I install software all the time via GP using this share. 1st time I've seen this. I'm well scratching my head.

Hi all I've just pushed out shortcuts for this software from Rising Stars using GP on out 2008 Server R2. Shortcuts are fine, program opens etc. However, when you click on any Docs or PDF files to open them, the software refuses to open them and gives the error that it can't find the resources. All items were copied into the correct folders and I can access these via UNC and open them manually. Anyone any ideas why this is happening? Thanks

Do we have any mountain bikers/trail riders on EduGeek?
Singist replied to L3OUGH's topic in General Chat
This is my Ride. A Cube Access WLS GTC Pro 29er hardtail. I love it and it's a race rocket machine with it being carbon. I do go on the roads with it sometimes for very long rides but I prefer trails such as Llandegla, Gisburn Forest, Delamere, Clayton Vale in Manchester next to the Velodrome opened a new trail centre 18 months ago with blue and red runs, it's quite fast and flowy too. Has a great skills area. I'd love to try out Bike Park Wales though, camping trip imminent I think. -
I'm not in front of a PC with Clicker 5 on it and it isn't something I've looked for before but is there no configuration file with a savepath= option in the folder for that program in Program Files?

I found that uninstalling SmartInk fixes any issues with Office Suite.

We've designed and created 20/30 external websites Using SharePoint 2007/10 for primary schools. Here's a few http://www.st-barts.bolton.sch.uk Lever Edge Primary Academy Home Our Lady of Lourdes Home http://www.st-brendan.bolton.sch.uk The only issue I have is with templates. There aren't any decent free ones that Microsoft provide which is a scandal with the licensing you pay. Topsharepoint came through with a couple of free ones. Thankfully, 2013 are offering far more friendly and aesthetically pleasing template designs. Can't wait to play once we move schools to Office 365.

It works and looks exactly the same but only on certain Android devices. They use it on an Acer tablet here. 2 Simple have a list of devices it works on so check first.

2 of my primary schools use this software, one on iPad minis and one on an Acer Android device. It does reduce the massive amount of paperwork for learning journeys (cutting out pics, sticking them in books, writing them up). It also produces PDF files that teachers can use if they wish for end of school reports.

If you have an Amazon account and you purchase a book through them, it will sync to any device you've installed the Kindle app to? I purchased a couple of books through Amazon, installed Kindle to 6 Nexus devices this morning, logged in with existing Amazon account, and those books showed on all devices as it syncs as soon as you start the app. Only had 6 though, not sure if there is a limit of 6. I'll test it with the ipads next week.

Bugger all in Bolton Daughter very disappointed as her school cancelled year 11 rewards trip to Alton Towers today due to 'Adverse weather condtions'. Any in Stafforshire??
-
:( I will get out on this bike yet this year, brand new for Xmas and only been on it twice. Damn the British weather!
-
We're supposed to be going to Gisburn Forest to ride the trails and for the opening of their new hub. Guy Martin is cutting the ribbon. I have a feeling the weather is going to scupper our plans now. I hope not!

[ipad] Anyone recommend a sync and charge case?
Singist replied to Vellocet's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Couple of my primaries use these, handy as they have a slot for MacBook/laptop but they are very heavy and bulky. I would have recommended the Ergotron products if they are cheaper as they look far less bulky. I assume just as easy to connect to MacBook/laptop. Pity I didn't know about them. -
ICT Network Manager Job (my job!) in Clitheroe, Lancashire

They're asking for someone with a 1st class degree. Pity, I only have a 2:1 -
This has been happening to just a few random laptops using the KX driver from a 2008r2 server. I noticed that any image/photos being sent to the printer were being changed to bitmaps from jpegs therefore increasing the size of the print massively and taking an age. Didn't realise it might be a driver issue as it's completely random. I'll have a look at updating them.

Very useful. Thanks. One of my schools has just purchased 74 of them to mainly use as reading resources (Kindle App). 6 in each classroom so they can have their own account for each one. Even more useful as a resource if we can find other uses for them.
