What to wear to Xmas party?

Hi guys? this is my first xmas party with our staff. im bit struck what to wear tomorrow?

nomally i wear shirt, trouser & black shoe for work.

plz help:D

Our young male TA wore smartish trousers and a casual shirt (not the sort you wear with a tie) at the last xmas do, all us women were glammed up but he didn't look out of place.

Go in your scruffs, and don't forget your toolkit, as no doubt they will have you fixing anything with a plug, or at least asking "how" to.

Clean and smart... So no jeans unless they are spotless, new.. Likewise I'd locate a medieval torture instrument known as an "iron" and use it to remove any creases (well, as much as possible)...

 

To be honest, so long as you look, clean, smart, smile and buy your share of rounds nobody will care

Just ask someone whether it is casual etc.. where you are going needs to be smart shirt and shoes or would jeans do. Then turn up in a gorilla suit.

I usually go pretty smart as I'm not so smart at work, but this year I am rockin' out the christmas jumper. Cream, Knitted, high neck,complete with jumping reindeer, pine trees and a snowfake pattern.

Better answer: shoes (polished). shirt & trousers (clean & ironed) has seen me safely through all work christmas do's safely.....

 

Or, you can find the organiser and ask "is there a dress code?" - I think that's a fair-enough question as you've not been to one of these before.
