bossman Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Children's services should be involved and the child fostered out to a couple who have all the necessary parenting skills to give this child all the essentials for it's future life. I feel this is an horrendous waste of 3 young lives and the parents involved should be taken to task over allowing this to happen by not educating their own offspring. This gives a feeling and sends a message to all the young people out there that it is ok to have under age sex and bring the country to a financial standstill if allowed to carry on like this. We are the only country apart from America who are allowing this through media hype to become socially acceptable, once again the gutter press have a scoop big bl**dy wow they should be helping in matters like this and not emblazing it all over the front pages and on social networking sites such as "youtube". The two children themselves should be facing very stringent consequences from the courts (maybe even a remand home) as well as their families. I maybe coming across with strong views here but this is Bl**dy ridiculous in this day and age surely someone must have known that the young girl was pregnant and therefore had it terminated before it ruined these young peoples lives. What next I ask myself? :(

To be fair to the lad, maybe I was "advanced" but I'm pretty sure that I would have leapt at the chance to have sex at that age and probably wouldn't have worried too much about contraception. However, I'd like to think that instead of thinking "the state will pay for everything" the prospective (grand)parents would have probably insisted on a termination. The thing that puzzles me most is that most 15 year old girls try to pull older guys (more money, cars etc) rather than baby-faced nippers.

Completely agree with Bossman's opinion - Social Services should be involved and children fostered into families that ARE able to cope - both financially and mentally.

If it was early on in the pregnancy then definately agree. I think most bad/strange behaviour of young kids is mainly down to bad parenting. I know there is always exceptions but they are the main influence IMO. As already said, 9 and 6 kids basically says it all! Poor baby

I'm sure the novelty will wear off when she wants feeding in the middle of the night and nappy changes every 5 minutes
