I wonder if the 4 ways that were left on the stand were yours then Tom? I know that we seemed to have a deluge of them when we were breaking it up.

Sorry to see you go, Tony, you've been an important part of EduGeek from the start. Hopefully you'll still be around to post sometimes.

Good luck for the future.

Day job..... now that's something to add to my to do list. Must only work in daylight.

After 3 1/2 years of EduGeek and discussion with the other admins, I am retiring as an EduAdmin to concentrate on my day job. It has been a fantastic time and Dos_Box is a brilliant boss.

I look forward to being able to sit back and heckle, even coming down off the fence.

Thanks for the support everyone has given over the last 3 1/2 years and it I am glad I am part of a thriving community.

Job's a good one Tony. Enjoy your new post and thanks for all the help and support over the past few years.

that's a bloody long discussion.........

sad to lose a great admin, but glad that a good friend has moved onto a role that allows him to show his skills to greater effect.

and for those worried about giving him a gift - we'll post a video showing his pure, unbridled joy at the chocs Dos_box gave him soon....

He has a serious muffin fetish too.

EDIT: Just realised how many ways that could be taken.

Further clarification (it's not even funny anymore) in chocolate muffins from Tesco's! :)

I'd have just given him a box of Quality Street and a pat on the back ...

/me mumbles something about RMPs and wanders off...

Tony, you will be much missed as an Admin... however, if you are still posting, I think you'll still be able to break up the squabbles with your well-reasoned common-sense posts!

As they remove EduAdmin from your name... what will it be replaced with?

member or edusupporter isn't enough... edufriend, eduknowledge... ?

You will be missed mate you have done a great job with Edugeek and it is a shame to see you hang up your cap, however enjoy the well deserved break.

All the best

Hi Tony,

You already know my thoughts on this but just to re-iterate "Thank You" and a fond "fare thee well" my friend "twill not be the same without you".

Myself and webman thoroughly enjoyed our Bett trip but the best part was having free time on the night to enjoy a social gathering of Tech minds.

"EDUGEEKs" very own "Band of Brothers" is how I would describe a very dedicated, loyal bunch of guys who put others before themselves.

Tony you are a very lucky guy to have been in this "Band of Brothers" and you have worn the badge with honour.

Please don't lose it!!! :) :) :)

Evenin' Folks.

Gotta say that I am grateful for your kind words (and the Obit from Russ!)

Today has been interesting clearing out my PMs (damn ... got the same limit as you lot now!) and sending stuff on to the admins to deal with ...

Gotta say thanks to Sysman_MK for the picture ... and to the other admins for my lovely pressie (I was sat in the hotel room having a serious case of RTFM with it during the week!)

Now remember to place nice for the Mods and Admins ... you know I will be watching ... mwuhaha ... Mwuhahaha!!! MWUHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

ahem ... sorry
