Brax Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 Loving the new site. Thank you for the hard work!😃 2

machy Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 I don't seem to be getting site notifications for followed thread replies Do I need to prod a button somewhere?
ZeroHour Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 Having a look at mail logs it appears to have only tried to send one email to you so far. Investigating...

Click on your profile icon in top right - Manage Followed Content. Select the threads you want notifications for, and choose whichever option you want from the bell icon at the bottom
Koldov Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 (edited) I haven't seen the instructions for this, but all old threads are set not to notify...? Also, all done at the migration date and time? Do I have to visit/post on all old threads to get notifications back on, or is there a setting? Edited March 21, 2025 by Koldov 1

Koldov Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 (edited) Do I have to set that separately from these 'Notification Settings' (the bell icon)? Also do I have to do it for every thread I ever posted in the old forum? Or is it just saying there have been 'no notifications'...? Sorry... it's early... only on my second coffee... ZeroHour Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 @Koldov I will see what I can do server side pulling but from the old db but it may take a little. 1
Koldov Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 @ZeroHour don't worry too much, I'm not even sure if I'm asking a legitimate question yet... 😂

For me I'd say it's easier than ever as you can copy and paste an image from the clipboard so using the snipping tool in Windows and just pressing CTRL+V to paste the image in has become amazingly easy! 1
smurfomatic Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 @Koldov if you follow @NegativeKillDeaths instructions, that will turn on notifications for all your followed threads. The Notification Settings you're showin will set how you're notified
JonThompson Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 One thing I've noticed is the breadcrumb menus don't seem to function how I'd anticipate. So if I go to What's New > Subscribed Content and then click on one of the unread items e.g. Cool things thread the menu option is to then to go back to home forum e.g. Behind Red Door rather than back to Subscribed Content. Maybe I've just got too used to the app, but a back button to go back to that would be good, otherwise it's a bit of a faff to keep opening the main menu and navigating back to the Subscribed Content 'stream' each time you've read the update to the Subscribed thread. Or have I missed something... 🤷♂️
Ditto Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Apologies if this has been posted before, but I noticed a post with a link to another post isn't working quite as expected. The link took you to the other thread, but not the exact post linked.
elsiegee40 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Had a bit of a weird one just now when I quoted what turned out to be the last post on a page of thread before a new page was needed. I quote posted my reply and afterwards it sent me to the top of the page of the post I quoted. I would expect to either end up on the new next page or to still be seeing the bottom of the old one.

Ahh the mobile interface, will see if I can code something in for handling that. 2 hours ago, Ditto said: Apologies if this has been posted before, but I noticed a post with a link to another post isn't working quite as expected. ITGuyNW Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 I've found by zooming out to 90% on the desktop version makes it a bit more readable for me. 100% font is too large. 1
elsiegee40 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Also, I am failing to get threads to open at the top of unread posts. I always seem to end up on last post even if I have never opened the thread before. I could have sworn I had seen a setting somewhere where this could be changed, but can’t find it. Chrome and Safari on iOS 18 on phone and and iPad
