Enjoyed my new home in the snow this weekend, especially putting the Christmas decorations up.Average covering here so it's a work from home day to be on the safe side.

Still a thin layer of snow on the ground and car - otherwise it seems to be cloudy, cold and just a breeze

 

I though of a nice bike ride with 'The Big Coat'

then realised the bike tyres are pretty much slick (normal for road use - not worn out!!!) and I don;t bounce as well as I probably would have many years ago

so I cancelled that idea

Cold and sleet on Saturday jus before volunteering for parkrun, was cold thru whilst stood there marshalling what didn't help was ran 5k from home to the event so sweaty as well :-( Edited November 29, 2021 by Davit2005

Dusting of snow here overnight.

School car park doubling as a skating rink. Do wonder if anyone will raise the lack of salting with our site team or not. Several people have nearly gone flying!

Dusting of snow in South Herts too. Jus settled on cars and still on cars that have not moved. Windscreen was slightly frozen underneath the snow.

I can confirm that I put my 'Big Coat' on last night to get tea from McDonalds

(i.e. Tea - as in evening meal - not tea as in a drink - my wife was brought up in strange places)

 

mind you - I do have a stinking cold and was shivering all evening under a blanket on the sofa
