OK. NOW it’s snowing...and blowing a gale!

I’ve just got in from the shops. The living room heater is on full. I’m going to put on my Chewbacca onesie and not move for the rest of the day!

I’ll add that to the list of things in my life I’ll now never be able to unsee.... :)

Eyebleach:

*Not literally bleach, nor 'eyebleach'

:)

Edit: It's snowing pretty heavily in Scotland today (Scotland v Wales [Murrayfield, Edinburgh])

Well we had snow

more of those little bit if snow falling but not sticking

that was it

nearest weather station - according to Weather Underground - has been reporting a temperature of between -1 and +1 all day with a feels like temperature of several degrees lower due to wind

basically a pain in the neck

and - no I DO NOT OWN A ONESIE

and I am rather shocked that some people that I considered to be sensible and normal come on here and - not only does it turn out that they own one - but they admit it and even admit to wearing it!!!!!

We've been the same, a couple of small flurries today but the wind was biting, I reckon around -5 with wind chill. All the ground is dessicated due to days of this wind and no snow.

Went for a walk along the Ribble Link and Lancaster Canal this afternoon. Both were frozen with a very thick sheet of ice and walking into the wind was not fun at all!

Wind chill here took it down to “feels like” -8

Whatever. Our daily walk was very brisk on the bits that weren’t as slippery as the Cresta Run.

I took our Volvo out for a battery-charging run and was surprised by how much snow was around. There’s more than I thought.

Suppose it could be worse - could be Lycra...

(are e-bikers allowed to wear Lycra?)

Well I'm not

Mrs mikeprice is VERY clear on the subject

and to be clear - for 'those people' - I also do not rent/lease/borrow or steal a onesie

especially not a Disney Princess one - before anyone starts

OK. Understood.

On topic: Snow's gone from here (was hardly any at all anyway) but also heard from the in-laws that it's almost completely gone in their part of Norfolk too.

Round here what snow there is has gone

although the canal still has large patches of ice where it is sheltered from the sun

which is weird when you see several ducks swimming around then one apparently standing on the water

Yesterday, I was sunning myself in the garden. Today, it’s snowing (just). :noidea:

Same here (on both counts!) I thought the snow wouldn't make it this far down the country.

Edit: Snowing (heavier) with bigger flakes!

Nothing here in Northern Lincolnshire on the coast, boiling yesterday whilst I was out with a bit of a breeze, chillier today but nothing what so ever.

A few flakes of snow just as I was cleaning out the scorebox at the cricket club ready for our first match on Saturday - I just hope it warms up a bit by then!
