Us too. Lots of email addresses visible by the looks of it. Amateurs. Have they just breached the Data Protection Act in the process of telling us that they've already had a data breach?

Interestingly, the domain is registered to "Capita PLC" but the details are for one of those "hide who you are" companies, CSC Corporate Domains Inc, who's own domain "www.cscprotectsbrands.com" is blocked by Chrome as phishing.

I guess they sent it to thousands of people, it seems to be going in batches of 100 emails. I and a few other colleagues received this email in separate batches. Probably big sorry email for disclosing a large number of email addresses will follow. How does it relate to GDPR?

It looks like a phishing attempt to me. I don't remember CapitaSoftware.com being one of their official sites.

I've recently had a licence renewal email with a link to the same domain for their privacy statement. Very odd that the domain is behind a privacy company, but I think the domain is genuine.

Thought I would stop by to let Steve Ainsley know that his incident is logged under reference INC0017274 incase he and the rest of Capita's email database were unaware...

I'm putting £2 e/w on Steve Ainsley not being real, or at least not working at Capita (this morning).

I got one to that was addressed to ~100 recipients

My boss got one that was addressed to ~100 different recipients

Our public enquiry mailbox got one that was addressed to ~100 different recipients again

Someone did an oops.
