f you haven't changed your DNS servers (which we asked everyone to numerous times about a year ago and repeated this weekend) then your DNS may be broken.
I can't change the DNS on our telecoms as the router is managed by you. It looks like it wasn't updated with the new DNS on this setup?

Edit: Sorted! Thanks @SchoolsBroadband.

Morning all

If you still have the logs issue, they do have a work around now. If you put in the "diagnostics" filter and then put your nsw number in the search box, you can then use the logs.

Thanks for that. Shame my open ticket wasn't updated with that information.

Issue i currently have is that the Netsweeper agent isn't support on macOS Catalina and is 'On Hold', which is ridiculous, this is a vastly used OS that has been out since September (June if you have a developer license) and they currently don't support it. Have a new iMac that can't go into the suite as currently no filtering on it! Could go down to High Sierra or Mojave i know but i shouldn't have to.

@DalekSec,

that is indeed frustrating. I've emailed my contacts at Netsweeper to ask for an update.

If you don't auth by Wagent then we can go to a backup Captive Portal which will mean you can still be filtered on a per user basis just users have to put in their username and password. We could also filter by IP address if we gave those MACs a static DHCP lease too.

I'll wait for Netsweepers response and will get back in touch.

Thanks

Dave

Support just told me there's a huge outage and they're working on it now but couldn't give any more details.

I do wish they would email out status updates quicker. Would save the calls.

Just had this,

Customer Communication - Netsweeper Intermittent Outage
– P0 Case Reference – 01138958

Some customers may be experiencing an intermittent connection to the internet this morning. Our engineers are working closely with Netsweeper and believe they have identified the issue and are taking steps to confirm/rectify.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will send a further update at 1.30PM

Up and down all day.

Communication from Schools Broadband has been appalling as usual.

Issue started around 9:15AM, no official comms from SchoolsBroadband until 12:30. Made aware further update would be sent at 1.30. Now 2:45 and still nothing...

Not even convinced its a Netsweeper issue either as I have a PC here going straight out via firewall completely bypassing Netsweeper and still experiencing issues...

Absolutely zero information has been forthcoming about this latest outage which has disrupted the entire day. This lack of communication is both disappointing and disturbing. Very unlikely to renew our contract on expiry now as repeatedly told things will improve but outages feel as if they are more frequent now and the total lack of communication has eroded any confidence I may have had that things would improve.
