All my primary schools are desperate for an online version of FMS

When I was overseeing it, the LA version hadn't been started. The language used is more accountant friendly and it doesn't have the same guardrails that FMS does so it doesn't stop you from doing unusual transactions.

So even if Sims does go online (in 30 years) my primary schools will still need to maintain a server running SQL just for a database that is titchy.

From the last Capita update seminar I attended, Capita is planning on doing a version for LA schools to start trialing with some schools for the start of the next academic year. If you have a Capita MyAccount login then they will be making more details available there in due course.
