3s-gtech Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 7-zip is the de-facto standard - very good it is too. I know there are some decent alternatives too but I haven't looked into them as I was happy enough with it. For most users, the built-in functionality in Windows has been enough.

Rob_D Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Personally, I use winrar (mostly because it's what I've always used), although I do like that 7zip will try to open anything. We don't deploy anything, staff just use windows built in stuff for opening/creating zip files. And if they get some weird .7z or .rar file (not that common) then they come to us.
