Link: How Millennial Are You? | Pew Research Center

Take our 14 item quiz and we’ll tell you how "Millennial" you are, on a scale from 0 to 100, by comparing your answers with those of respondents to a scientific nationwide survey. You can also find out how you stack up against others your age.

My result:

I thought my score would be lower.

The quiz seems a little flawed.

Eg. Landline and Cell phone - In the US, internet can be provided via cable without a phone line.

I'm apparently a Gen-X'er.

74, was born in '81 so pretty much spot on.

Edit: Yeah only reason we have a landline is for internet.

Can here as well? I've said cell phone only, based on the fact that I don't have a phone connected to my landline!

65, which is a little off but not much. However:

This is part of a Pew Research Center series of reports exploring the behaviors, values and opinions of teens and twenty-somethings that make up the Millennial Generation.

I'm a Millenial, but I'm not in those age groups.

I got 92. But I don't really understand what that means... :-/ ! Plus this was written in 2010 so...I guess text messages should have probably included Facebook messages etc.

*edit* if I update text messages to include online messaging services as well it pushes me up to 97.

You still have a landline though...

2, although I'm a baby boomer. It looks like I have the lowest school so far :) - no doubt my score is heavily influenced by my lack mobile phone.

Just like any quiz it's a fun little thing to suggest that you are more like a certain category than another. So in this case you may have an outlook to life more like those born post 1981. :) So more new/modern standards of thinking. Where as I may have a more older soul and philosophy to life. :) (Even though I was born in the 80's). Anyway, bit of fun. :)

At least I don't have the lowest score! Surprisingly age accurate, though. I thought I could see where I scored "badly", but some of the results seem odd:

More "Silents" played video games than the others?

Millennials don't have social media profiles?

Marriages seem to be lasting longer?

Fewer people are getting piercings? 100% of older people have piercings?

Unless I'm suffering from Monday Morning lack of reading comprehension!

33 for me, mainly due to lack of tattoos or piercings it seems :p

Why is there no Gen Y in there? Edit: apparently that's Millennial now, I thought they were two separate things before? Personally think there's a big difference between someone born in 80's compared to late 90's \ 00's, which must surely be getting towards having their own label by now?

Gen Y = Millennials

Gen Z = ??? Apparently 'Founders' if you go with an MTV survey that asked what name they would pick. http://adage.com/article/cmo-strategy/gen-z-post-9-11-generation-called-founders/301578/
