Edu-IT Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I stumbled across this. Surely there's not a need for these nowadays? Insight
3s-gtech Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Depends. If you have an 80s classic (perhaps a concourse RS Turbo or a factory fresh MG Maestro!) and don't want to use an RF modulator or rip out the radio and spoil the interior, they have a use.
hardtailstar Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 There was for my Dads old car. got one just as cheap and he had his MP3 player attached to it.
Steve21 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Hell yes Pumping iPods etc into old cars without replacing stereo. Had one in my last car haha, even though it had a CD player much prefer phone/ipod connected to it Steve
Oaktech Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Yeah there is... My 2000 Audi has a tape deck - it also has a 12cd changer and an [obviously]after market bluetooth phone system - but it has a tape deck.
LeMarchand Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Not at that price! You can normally get them from Poundland etc.
Miscbrah Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 There is in my mate's Toyota. In fact that's prolly the most reliable part of it.
mthomas08 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 They are very useful... ... For confusing today's generation who don't know what it is or how to use it. Just explain how you get to the next track.
john Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Yup still got a use for sure so many cars have those integrated radios that are a pile of toss to get swapped without making a mess an FM transmitter are not great (these ain't amazing either) but better than FM.
