Bedders Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 (Stick with it, I promise it keeps getting better and better) Oh wow, that's hysterical! How have I missed that in the past! Thanks for sharing.
bald_pig Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 (Stick with it, I promise it keeps getting better and better) I stick with PRAISE LORD GABEN!
korifugi Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Well, Blizzard have now released the Necromancer on to Diablo 3 - mine downloaded this morning. Haven't had chance to run one yet - but here's hoping it's like the D2 incarnation and I can run a literal horde of skelebobs.

I had totally forgotten about this... might be time to actually pick this up again
foofighterjim Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Haven't actually seen it myself but apparently the latest update to Final Fantasy XV allows the Regalia to be driven off road. Not sure if this will get me back into it as I had pretty much explored everything I wanted to by foot / chocobo, really can't be bothered with the paid DLC.
DalekSec Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Diablo 2 is one of my all time fav games, but 3 just seems like a grind fest :/
korifugi Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 Diablo 2 is one of my all time fav games, but 3 just seems like a grind fest :/ I think getting rid of Nightmare & Hell contributed to that - it gave you something to aim for. I managed to finish Hell with a melee Assassin (build up shed loads of charges and then release them all to see the screen disappear in pyrotechnics) and the same pull doesn't appear to be there. Doesn't stop me laughing like a madman while my Monk is practically skipping through a rift being unkillable (seriously - regen/heath drain are at silly levels) and going through hordes of enemies like they're made of soft cheese.
DeGrimmy Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 (edited) After buying Crusader Kings II last week when the Steam sale started, I decided last night to have a go at the tutorial level. I've watched other people play it on YouTube, so I'm familiar with its incredibly complex interface and know what to look out for. However, whilst playing the tutorial (which is a normal game once you get past the beginning tutorial section), the monarch died and had no male heirs, leaving his daughter ruling his kingdom. It's much more challenging when your kingdom doesn't recognise your right to rule as much as they would a male heir! (Because, medieval times, innit) Edited June 28, 2017 by DeGrimmy

About level 11 you also get a big gargantuan type monster. I'm only level 14 so don't know much more! 1

failnator Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I have also picked up the necromancer and personally i find it the most fun class just because of the minions you get. Im about level 14 aswell and absolutely love running round making things explode. so satisfying.

Add a Nagelring into that mix - every 11 seconds (time in cutscenes/conversations INCLUDED) you get a Fallen Lunatic (the ones that explode) up to a maximum of four. They usually knock a massive chunk out of (or sometimes completely flatten) any boss / unique. Edited June 29, 2017 by korifugi 1

Tesla Posted June 29, 2017 Author Posted June 29, 2017 As of the posts last week ( i think)...mostly @Garacesh I bought ScreenCheat, am enjoying it... Saw overcooked get played on go 8-bit, looks quite a laugh, but still don't think i'd get much enjoyment out of it. And Until Dawn is the free ps plus game next month! 2 out of 3 aint bad!
Garacesh Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 im hoping for a break from games for a while I bought ScreenCheat, am enjoying it... I did see that one, it looked reasonably fun! Haven't bought it though.

foofighterjim Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Brought Life is Strange complete series on the Xbox sale, I am really enjoying it. I have just finished episode two and it seems really well written and thought out, looking forward to see how everything plays out with my choices so far.
