Winner winner chicken dinner! Did a solo one last night, came 11th QQ My own fault a killed a guy and then turned my back for a second and got sniped in the back of the head!

Got my first winner winner chicken dinner the other day. Got 9 kills (11 including 2 people that died whilst I was shooting them outside the circle). Got a few wins in 2's with a friend also.

 

Can't wait for first person only servers. Very frustrating getting killed by someone camping and using third person view to look round/over corners.

Personally I don't think I'll play first person. If I wanted to play an FPS, I'd be playing Overwatch, or Battlefield, or COD, or any other one of the millions of FPS games out there.

The third-person view is part of the charm, the same way it was for All Points Bulletin, or The Division.

Real question is now i have a good laptop, do i buy gang beasts on steam (and have an awful horrid collection of 4 different controllers all connecting via a hub) , or still wait for the ps4 release

Steam Link was on summer sale. I got myself one.

I appreciate why people want First-Person only. Third-person does make camping considerably easier and does give substantial benefit to the camper.. But I think they just need to tweak the distance/over-the-shoulder numbers rather than eliminate it.

 

That being said, I'll still give first-person-only a shot (heh, geddit? shot? ay? ay?) and who knows, maybe I'll enjoy it, but I'm increasingly put off by first-person-shooters in the recent years so I'm not holding my breath.

Never used a scoped weapon when you're hanging out of the side of a jeep, especially if you get motion sickness

Thanks for the info. Just added you. Really enjoying splatoon 2. The motion controls take some getting used to but it's way more accurate than the stick alone.

Currently playing Baldurs Gate 2 multiplayer with friends, so nostalgic and SO good.

 

Also going back to Diablo 3 (not as good as the first two but they've brought out Necromancer which was my favourite class!)

I've just managed to carve the Platinum out of Diablo 3. Not difficult, just time consuming.
