Finished the main quest of Horizon: Zero Dawn yesterday. Brilliant! Either a sequel or DLC set up very nicely at the end. Epic and beautiful game!

Over the weekend - I platinumed FFXV, now just waiting for the DLC.

Started playing Yesterday: Origins - point & click adventure goodness!

thats next on my list (but on xbox one) once i get tired of breath of the wild (which might not be too much longer as ive done most of the story just the end battles to do but as im out of stuff i think i might go on a get more food / kill guardians run (have found a few areas full of these where before i legged it now im going hunting as ive taken a few down with relative ease theres something you get for doing something that makes it fairly easy as long as you can get close enough lol) and try and find if theres anything else i can do usefully before rocking up at the castle)

Heh, i did almost buy a 2tb one at end of last year, but the price shot up coz brexit etc etc.

Annoying as the ps4 only has 2 USBs, one of them now taken up permanently by the HD

cool might have to get that (as well as the art book i havnt looked at yet lol)

how well indexed is it as ive found odd things but short of knowing where they are they have me stumped (like random cubes on the side of a mountain)

Not sure yet, opened it last night, OH had a migraine, so i was mostly sat playing in the dark, so haven't looked properly at the guide yet.

p.s

The art book is also amazing.

Finished Mass Effect last night. Liked it a lot, though I felt the finale was over a bit too quickly and the money system needed tweaking. Near the start I didn't have money to buy any of the cool things but once I did, I was "finding" stuff that was more than adequate. Ended up hitting the max money a few times and bought stuff just to take it down.

Started on Alice: The Madness Returns.

Spent a whole heap of time playing Stellaris this weekend.

After what seemed like forever my 130K strong fleet managed to wipe over 800K on Unbidden fleets from the galaxy, saving all the little races.

I'm now a technological superpower with nobody to flex my muscles against!

I should also be claiming this but my last remaining achievement (Cooking Expert) didn't pop when Ignis reached level 10 :(

This is one of my favourite games - and I can't even say why. Everything just works so well in it.

It is just so beautifully twisted. I haven't played it for a few years now but the Mad Hatter section always comes to mind.

Forgot to mention that I somehow achieved the apparently difficult feat of offending one of the possible romance options. Story of my (pre-martial) life...

Apparently it can be quite bad for some trophies - so it's best to stagger saves. Do you have a ~lv9 cooking save you can go back to?

I may have a save with it on level 8 otherwise its all the way back to my pre Altisia save where it was probably only level 6 and I had next to no ingredients or money :(

bought that last night and its damn handy esp the paper map. Yes its kind of cheating but some stuff like what you need to upgrade armour/cooking specific foods (esp as even if you've cooked it before it doesn't have a way of recalling used ones) i don't see how you are ever going to find out without help (other than sheer luck) and things I've seen but forgotten where and need to find again, puzzles i get the general idea of but not the specifics so I've managed to get a few more shrines done with using the book basically as a hint to what i was missing

Yeah i'm not using the guide religiously. Haven't actually had to use it for anything yet, but then i have only just reached Kakariko(?) Village

I've just got to a point where sometimes i just need a clue I've spent too long not getting it by over thinking things

but mostly last night i went and cleared off all the random poi id marked on the map as they were stopping me tagging other new poi's lol and just getting screwed by the weather i think i spent as long immobile due to rain stopping my climbing or sandstorms meaning i couldn't navigate

Anyone on here playing the new Battlefield 1 maps? Any good?

Didn't even realise there was a DLC pack releasing - I'd just uninstalled BF1 to make room for Sniper Elite 4 and, later this month, Mass Effect: Andromeda! :D

I also may have pre-purchased Middle-Earth: Shadow of War... Green Man Gaming are doing 20% off, plus an extra 5% off with a voucher code from an email. So I'm all set for games this year!

well after knocking down about a dozen semi broken guardians last night and upgrading my armour to level 3 i decided to have a run at Hyrule castle well i think i need a few more .... s theres a metric tonne of mobile guardians behind the gates and those awful flying ones. might get armour upgrade 4 and possibly look at affording the specific armour for this situation but it costs a lot of rupees and material and i just spent 10'000 last night

also looking at my profile since the 3rd of march ive played over 65 hours of botw lol and another 1.5-2 hours this morning before work lol

I still need to work out a good strategy for guardians...

I ran into a less-broken one and managed to stunlock it off a cliff with arrows. [emoji14]
