Had the urge to buy a new xbox 360 (rather than my pants old, basic edition that doesn't even have HDMI on it)

 

Xbox 360 slims go for quite cheap used (around 60-70 quid) hmmmm........

Popping up town tonight to see what Cex and Game have stock, but that's a very good deal.... Annoying they only have 1 left!

Well it is Friday!

 

I got myself a PS3 from there a couple of weeks ago. Said it was 'good' condition but after a few obligatory alcohol wipes it was like new.

 

12 months warranty too.

 

I hope your experience will be the same.

got persona 5 not started it yet decided to wait till the weekend but because its a modern game put in inn the ps4 and its a miricle neither the game or the ps4 had a pending update (ps4 is probably my 5th/6th most used still connected gaming machine (xbox one,switch,wiiu,pc,ps4/3ds)

has anyone started persona 5 yet? im wondering if dialogue choices etc have any effect so for instance is it possible to get to school on time on your 1st day or is it "fated" that your late?

well after having the week off and getting to ~16 hours in by thursday im now nearer 40.

im not sure how it got a 16 rating rather than 18 though its pretty dark and very suggestive at times.

it does remind me a lot of tokyo mirage sessions to the degree i miss using the wiiu gamepad as the phone (so you can reply to texts while still playing)

 

on the downside my videos to watch on youtube etc is now getting really long to the point its going to be an issue lol

So decided to buy an Xbox One to add to my collection of consoles. Currently spamming GTA V on it (yes, i could have it for ps4, sue me). Also have the Halo Master Chief Collection, Forza Horizon 2,Dead Rising 3, Titanfall and COD:AW (the last two came with it)

the biggest issue with multiple consoles is just the cable mess what with nic leads, hdmi/power (at least the 1s finally ditches the power brick of the one) behind my tv is a total mess and every time i try and tidy it it seems to get worse though i dont think the amp and all the speaker cables help lol

Yeah, in the process of working out what to do. Problem is some of the consoles i have get moved between downstairs and upstairs (mainly ps4, and now xbox one too), so even if i have a good setup, i'll regularly be moving stuff around.

this is where a 3d printer (and talent lol) could be really helpful and print out basically a cable jig then just pull that out removing all cables (granted youd have to snap the rj45 tab off but doable)

ok my setup.

devices in there

ps4/xbox one/xbox360(no hdmi currently and unplugged from power)/intel nuc/switch/wii-u/youview box/sony amp(where most stuff plugs into)42" sony tv/24"asus hdmi monitor (so i can "watch" 2 tings at once) currently theres a wii as gamexplain are streaming fire emblem path of radience and im playing after but thats temporary so i diddnt even try and cable nicely lol

 

theres also my router and an 8 port gb switch behind the tv

I picked my son up a reconditioned Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Windforce the exact same card that I have in my PC, I put it in my PC and ran 3D Mark to check it was ok and it scored 200 points more than mine on Firestrike, I was expecting a difference but not that much, can identical cards really leave the factory with that much of a variation in performance?

There is one choice very late in the game which will determine how the game ends for you. All other choices just help to boost your social stats or increase social bonds.

Wish i got around to playing persona, just never played one. was same for MGS and Tomb raider..............Stupid mmorpg's taking over my gaming time =/

Heists are becoming a real pain to complete on GTA, not enough friends yet so have to rely on "unknowns" to help with heists/setups, which they rarely do!

 

Still didn't get round to playing Dragon Age.....my list of games recently bought seems to far outweigh what i'm actually playing at the moment.

becoming ive always found them that way ive managed the 2 person one then gave up you just cant do it with randos

i think ive found that point and after a while thinking ive picked the dark ending im now less sure but i will find out thank f for multiple saves and i might back them up to usb at some point. Theres a lot of cutscenes/just push the button to advance bits late on think i watched over an hour of stuff without really doing anything last night lots of exposition stuff just dumped on you (and some of it was optional to watch) then i took a break and played a couple of levels of fire emblem path of radiance to keep up with the stream im watching lol

 

like zelda its hard to discuss p5 withlout spoiling it for people and i want to talk about it lol
