Who bought a OnePlus One today? I was tempted but I think they are too large for my needs plus the OnePlus Two is rumoured to be in production.

Signed up on the site.

Added the phone & protector to my basket.

Shuffled money between bank accounts.

Not yet been brave enough to click buy because it's still nearly £300 and that's not an insignificant amount of money.

Keep looking at my phone and thinking "you're so small, your battery is so ruined, you're starting to lag..."

OnePlus Two: doesn't look to be a massive upgrade TBH. Don't want a 1440p screen (battery drain), don't want the Snapdragon 810 given all the overheating rumours, 4GB RAM isn't a significant upgrade over 3GB, and rumours are it'll cost more than the OnePlus One.

I need to just man up and click this bloody button.

Attachment 29838, then Attachment 29840? Did someone forget to blank out their order number? :D

*cough* Perhaps...

Identical order to mine!

Well, I got the standard shipping. Will be interesting to see the difference.

Let us know how you get on with it @sonofsanta.

So did I - did you pay less? The robbing buggers.

Actually, you're right. My mistake, standard is £6.99.

I was tempted by express, but from what I've read online a lot of people are getting it quicker with standard delivery!

Did you get a rear case for it?

That Diztronic Ultra one you linked to earlier, in Charcoal Grey. Thanks for doing that research for me ;)

No worries.

Just don't blame me if it's carp! :)

My OCD will come out when fitting the screen protector, that's for sure!

I stand my ground! HTC. I am considering the expense of the new HTC and deciding whether to go for the m8 for a year or not. Just to keep the cost down.

We've all turned out to be right tight a***s!

Ain't we just! well my cooker and washer broke the weekend, IN THE SAME DAY! Can you believe it! So that's my phone money gone anyway! So I may just leave it all together, I'm undecided yet, I would love a new phone but clean clothes and food seems to me as priority! Haha

If it was just me then yes, but with two kids and a very angry MRS (choosing I made the wrong decision and chose the phone) Can you imagine the atmosphere! [emoji23]

I am somewhat frightened about having to confess to my Mrs later, and there's not even anything gone wrong (this week, at least) :S

One word then mate, doghouse! What are your intentions? Are you buying a new phone?

Well worth being in the doghouse for!

I mowed the lawn on Sunday, cooked tea every night for the next couple of weeks, and cleaned the house top to bottom. I've been laying the foundations. I'm sure she can smell a rat!

Isn't it just! Go for it I say!

And yep she knows you want something, she's just waiting for the moment. Does she know?

And I cook the tea every night! So I can't use that to persuade her.

Already bought! After much dithering all morning.

It may take a lot to make this up to her. Not really the best time of month to be doing this, either... /cough

Don't understand why you all get so worried about your OH's getting mad. Mine just says "If it makes you happy" and rolls her eyes at me. I normally smile and say "yes, yes it does" and jobs a good-un. I spent £400 on clothes the other day at cheshire oaks, £80 Go-Karting with friends, £400 on my car stereo, £470 on a Nexus 6 and this is a month where Tax, MOT and Insurance have to be paid out by my car... Ok maybe I over did it a bit this month and it was my 21st birthday! (I'm not normally like that) :rolleyes2:

It's alright for some! Just remember she's got something on you now. You spent all that money. She will bring that up in the future.

And the eye roll should say it all(she's fed up of your spontaneous spending sprees)

TBF @abillybob, you're in a different situation to the 3 of us. I'm getting married in August, The other 2 have got kids. I'm nearly 10 years older than you!

You do right enjoying yourself at 21.

What you brought?

And you could of waited a week before you brought it! Haha

OnePlus One. And the price goes up across Europe tomorrow, which may or may not include the UK.

@abillybob - reasons include mortgage, children, childcare, cars always being an unexpected expense, pets always being an unexpected expense, the fact we're cramming every last pound we can (more or less) into savings ready to go to Florida this year after three years of paupering ourselves in that cause, "I never go out and spend any money", "I'd love to get new clothes but someone has to be the sensible one", the general rule of life that your wife is always right and you are but one more thorn in her side (of which she already has plenty), and whatever else has happened today that wound her up and is still somehow my fault. And I still haven't done the lawn.

Marriage is fun!
