Number of DHCP Servers?

Currently have 1 DHCP server, just wondering how many people have?, just thinking redundancy if that server were to go offline.

We have 2 with Server 2012 DHCP failover.

One but have snapshots of it ready to go on ESXi in case of failing. Never got round to setting up failover!

2 sometimes 3 on every DC, just enable conflict detection as required, if using 2008 R2 or older.

One per site (7 sites). We've not moved to 2012 R2 yet, but we will. So I expect we'll have clustering then.

i've got 3 but 2 is enough i'm sure.

 

I've got split scope from my 2008r2 days, and after moving to 2012r2 i setup failover for one of the scopes. Haven't got around to uniting my scopes yet, 1 full scope + failover is enough i would think.

2 in the 2012 redundancy setup as its great and just works

Or ones that get rebooted/sleep or leave/join the network such as staff laptops
